Not Exactly a Chapter

Author's Note: I've been trying to finish the next Chapter and have reached an impasse. It basically comes down to this: At the end of this chapter Owen will be dead, or he'll be a vampire and I can't decide which way to go. I normally make these kinds of choices, but my Muse is sitting there looking down both paths and going "Hmmmmm".

Each will have impact upon Kristine and her choices, as well as and impact on the rest of the characters. I pretty much know how Owen will be as a vampire, so if that route is chosen I know what comes next.

I'm asking for opinions and perhaps you could call this a vote. Let me know publicly or privately which you would prefer and we'll see if that gives Miss Muse a kick in the pants.
