The real secret behind the Weasley stomach....

I don't own Harry Potter and related characters. Those belong to J.K. Rowling. The rest belong to Joss Whedon. This is a piece of fanfiction and not meant for publication. Enjoy....

Chapter 5:

“I just... I just don't understand.” Hermione said as she watched in horror. “Where does it all go?”

“You've seen him eat before.” Harry said as he watched his best female friend in concern. “How is this any different?”

“We're at a buffet, Harry. We've been here for three hours and Ron is still eating.” Hermione whispered harshly. “Puberty only explains so much. Where does the food go?”

“George told me a story one summer when I asked the same thing.” Harry sighed. “The Weasley family were given a task by a relative about a century ago. The family line protects the world by keeping a demon at bay. The youngest male has a voracious appetite because he needs the energy to hold the beast back. It's part of their family magics.”

“What demon?” Hermione asked.

“That, I don't know.” Harry sighed. “Of course, this was George telling me this. He could have been joking.”

“Somehow, I hope he wasn't.” Hermione said. “Otherwise... oh God... it'll never stop. He'll just keep eating and eating and....”

Harry sighed. He didn't really didn't need Hermione having a breakdown over Ron's appetite on the Horcrux hunt. Maybe he should have left Ron behind. Things would be much simpler if he had.

“Moisturize me!” Belthazor yelled at his minions before farting. “Oh god, it's getting worse! Damn those Gingers! Curse you Wilkins! You and your entire family!”
