Harry had always thought that he’d never be able to fall in love with another woman again after Ginny had died.Story: First Comes Love
Harry had always thought that he’d never be able to fall in love with another woman again after Ginny had died, minutes after giving birth to Albus. Falling in love with a man hadn’t even crossed his mind then, yet here he was now; minutes from saying “I do” to the happiest, silliest, most overprotective and dangerous man to have ever crossed his path. And to think that they wouldn’t have gotten to know each other, if he had been only a few minutes later that fateful day. Harry shuddered. He didn’t want to think about a life without Xander. That man had single-handedly brought back happiness and enjoyment to the depressing and monotonous life he had been leading after Ginny’s death.
Even their three children, James, Lilly and Albus, hadn’t always been entirely successful in bringing Harry back from some of his trips down memory lane. Those trips would leave him sitting on the sofa for hours on end, watching pictures and remembering the good times he and Ginny had had together. That had all changed the day he had literally bumped into Xander Harris outside of the Leaky Cauldron. He had been in a rush that day and wouldn’t have given the stranger he had almost run over in his hurry a second thought, if Xander hadn’t grabbed his arm and made him stop to ask him, of all things, for directions.
That had been the first of many accidental meetings between the two of them. Those accidental meetings had gradually become arranged meetings when they had become good friends and those arranged meetings had naturally evolved into dates. Now here he was: waiting to walk down another aisle, to promise to love and cherish another person for the rest of his life. And he couldn’t have been happier. He was in love with a wonderful man and he wanted everyone to know that.End of “First Comes Love”.A/N:

Any and all reviews (doesn’t matter which ones: ones that give a simple well-done or ones that give me some kind of feedback) are much appreciated. Flames will be given back to the people who gave them to me with a nice *cough* little note that sets them straight on why I neither like nor condone flames.
