I do not own Buffy or Supernatural. I just like to play with them.A/N:
This is my first fan fiction in a very long time and my first BTVS/Supernatural cross. My first cross of any kind. It’s been in my head for ages and it was time to write it down. Cuz I have so much free time. Yeah. Feedback is more than welcome. Flames will be laughed at. This is not betaed. I may look for one later. We’ll see.
After Buffy, not including the comics and end of season 3 for Supernatural. I have no idea of the real dates so let’s just call it AU.
Now on with the show...
There are gardens in London that you cannot enter without a key. You have to own a house in the right area to even be allowed a key.
There is a square in London that, if you even notice the gate, you need more than a key to enter. There is a discrete sign hanging on the left side reading “International Slayers and Watchers Council”. Another sign below it says “Please ring for entry” with a door bell.
Xander Harris stopped just outside that gate, two young women standing behind him, and, rather than pushing the button, waved his hand over the sign. The sign glowed for a minute and then the gate unlocked with a loud ‘click’ and Xander turned to the two behind him.
“After we get you settled, Willow will key you to the gate. Until then, you’ll need to stay with one of the other Slayers or a Watcher if you want to leave. Okay?” He smiled at them and they nodded their understanding. Xander turned back to the gate and pulled it open. “So this first building, with the gate and tunnel into the square, is offices, classrooms and the like. That takes up this whole side of the square. The other three sides are living space. Let’s find Mrs McKeown and we’ll see what house she wants you in.”
As he’d been talking, Xander and the girls were walking through a tunnel. On the far side there was a garden surrounded by buildings on all sides. The girls were wide eyed at the beauty of the garden.
Xander grinned at them again. “Yeah, most people get that look when they see the garden for the first time. It’s a memorial garden.” Sadness crossed his face. He shook his head and smiled again “Anyway, let’s go...Willow!”
A figure just coming out of one of the buildings on the far side of the building squealed and started running. “Xander!” Xander was hit by the red head in a few minutes and he grabbed her and swung her around.
“Xander!!” A second voice yelled and Xander was hit by another small woman, this one blonde. He dropped the red head and grabbed the blonde.
“Xaaaannndddeerrr!” Came another shriek and this time a taller, long haired brunette came at him. Soon he had all three of the women tucked into his arms, as they held on tight, some tears leaking through. The red head pulled away first and swatted Xander on the arm.
“Why did we not know you were coming home today?”
“Sorry, Wills. I had no idea what the flights would be like and once I knew I was ready to come back, I just wanted to get home.” He reached around the blonde and brunette still in his arms to shake the hand of the man who had come up to the foursome, “Good to see you, Giles.”
“So nice to have you home. There’s something...”
“Giles, I just got here, don’t tell me...” Xander stopped short as he noticed the man behind Giles. “Dean?” He whispered before taking a step forward. “What...how...”
“Hey, Xan...” Dean Winchester replied, “I was going...” Dean was cut off by Xander’s right hook. “...to call you...” he finished as he shook off the hit. “...yeah, I deserved...” Dean was cut off again as Xander grabbed him and kissed him. “..that...” Dean whispered as they broke the kiss. “Hi.”
“Hi.” Xander smiled at Dean. “What the hell?!”
Giles cut in “Gentlemen, I think you need to take this inside. I’ll get the girls settled...”
“Thanks Giles,” Dean said. “Can we use your office?”
“Of course.” Giles turned to the two new comers. “Come along, girls, let’s get you settled."
Xander turned to Buffy, Willow and Dawn, “Catch up later, yeah?”
“You’d better believe it mister.” Willow said and kissed his cheek. “I know we should have told you, but Dean said...”
“Yeah. I’ll blame him.” Xander smiled at her. “Family dinner?”
“Oh heck yes!” Dawn shrieked and went running to one of the houses. “Andrew! Xander’s...” the rest of her sentence cut off with the slamming of the front door.
“Come on, Xan.” Dean said with a smile. “Let’s go be girls and...talk...” Dean shuddered and headed to the building behind them.
“Right. Talk.” Xander muttered as he followed.
This was going to be quite a story, of that he was sure...
