“Willow!” His voice rang through the house, the tone of it more than a little alarmed.

Willow’s head shot up from where it had been pillowed on her arms, which were crossed over the book she had been reading when she had fallen asleep. She jumped from her chair as quickly as her swollen, pregnant belly would allow and waddled out into the hallway to holler back at her husband. “Honey?” she called, more than a little worried. “What is it?”

“The boys are here!” his voice answered back, still sounding slightly panicked.

The witch hobbled down the stairs to the main floor, muttering grumpily as she went about alarmist husbands who went and knocked her up. “So what? We knew they’d visit when they got back from South America,” she called when she hit the bottom of the stairs.

Her husband came through the doorway to join her in the hall, looking angry and sheepish, somehow at the same time. “Well, ya see…” he began before trailing off and Willow knew she wouldn’t like what came next.
She crossed her arms over her chest and lifted an eyebrow, her resolve face firmly in place. “What did you do?” she demanded, her voice brooking no argument.

He lifted his hat off his head to scratch his hairline, which Willow knew was his favorite stalling tactic. “It’s, uh, more what I didn’t do,” he hedged. Willow’s scowl deepened, prompting him to say, “Now, don’t get mad, Willow.”

Her hands moved to her hips. “I can pretty much guarantee I’m gonna be mad if you’re trying so hard not to tell me. Now, spit it out.”

“Well, uh, ya see, it’s just that Sam and Dean, well, they don’t exactly know about you,” he mumbled, not once meeting her eyes.

“Bobby Singer!” she shrieked indignantly and so loudly that the Winchester boys heard her from outside, where they were unloading the Impala. “I am seven months pregnant, we are married, you talk to them all the time! They’ve been gone for six months, not ten years! Why, in the name of Batman, don’t they know about me?”

It was a very startled Sam and Dean who came inside to find a tiny, enraged, and very pregnant redhead shouting at their father figure, who was staring at his toes in obvious guilt, both of them oblivious to the brothers’ entrance.
