Chapter One

I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Marvel Comics.

“Will he be alright?” A black skinned man said as he looked at the bundle in his wife’s arms.

“Yes, he will be alright Blade.” The woman said in an English accent.

“I just don’t think it’s smart to leave him on a Hellmouth.” Blade said concerned.

“That’s why it’s the best place for him because no one would think that we would leave our son on a Hellmouth.” The English woman said smirking at the thought of their enemies thinking that a Hellmouth was too dangerous for their son.

Blade sighed “Alright, but I just hope the Harris family is willing to take him in.”

“They just had a miscarriage so I think that they will be willing to accept him.” The English woman said.

“Alright just let them know to tell him of his real parents when he turns sixteen, or when he encounters a vamp for the first time.” Blade said not wanting his son be used as a pawn by anyone who saw him in action.

"I will." His wife said thinking along the same lines.

Then Blade laughed "Now that I think about I have a source that knows where one of the Scourge is and if I'm guessing right I could lean on him to teach our son."

"Are you sure that's a wise move?" His wife asked not thinking to highly about that working.

"He has his soul in his body so that should make this easier for me to leverage him given the proper incentive." Blade said smirking.

His wife nodded it made sense he was doing penance and helping the son of the most feared vampire hunter since Van Helsing would definitely help on a path to redemption.
