Story: Solution to Frustration

Rupert Giles could honestly say that he had never met a man more frustrating than Severus Snape and that said something, because he had dealt with Quentin Travers on more than one memorable occasion before the latter had been conveniently been killed. (That, of course, had led to him having to lead the New Slayers and Watchers Council, but that was another story entirely.)

The worst thing of it all was that, despite all of Severus Snape’s many faults, he had fallen arse over teakettle for the man. No, Rupert couldn’t in good conscience say that it had been love at first sight—quite the opposite, really—but somewhere along the way he had somehow managed to fall in love with the one man who could aggravate him into doing and saying things that he hadn’t thought possible until that time. They were both rationally-thinking, adult, British men, but whenever that challenging light flared in Severus’s eyes, Rupert felt himself respond in exactly the way Severus wanted, despite the—often-times many—objections his mind could come up with at the time.

That’s why he currently found himself kneeling on the bed next to the bound, blind-folded and gagged body of his lover, wooden paddle in hand; ready to strike the already red-tinged cheeks of the man’s arse again. A smirk played around his lips as he dragged out his lover’s anticipation of the new blow by taking his own sweet time looking at the pretty picture Severus made. Rupert was still smirking when he raised his hand for another blow.
