**I'm sorry it has been so long since I have updated and that this chapter is a little short (although all of this chapters in this story are a little short), but I have had finals and have just been really busy. I will try to remedy that**

Faith caught up to the zombie and Marty just as he was pulled into a crypt. Without hesitating, she threw the doors open to find Marty hacking away at the undead creature. She laughed at the mound of undead flesh at the stoner boy’s feet which made him stop and look at her before returning his gaze to the twitching, severed arm. He couldn’t help but laugh with her. “Well Marty I guess you don’t need my help after all.”

Marty took a deep breath to ease the laughter and looked around at the room they were in. “What is this place?”

“Looks a little swank for a crypt.” Faith followed his gaze knowing it had something to do with the two guys watching them.

He turned to her with a puzzled look on his face, “Have you visited a lot of crypts?”

Her eyes met his and she smirked, “My fair share.”

“Should your answer bother me?”

She was about to answer when they heard the RV start up and speed down the dirt driveway, “Damn it!”

Marty’s eyes got really big, “Did they just leave us?”

Faith let out a growl, “Yeah they did. Stay here and keep quiet. I’m gonna go stop them.”

“But shouldn’t we…” Marty’s voice was cut off by her slamming the crypt doors on him. She took off at full speed in the direction of the tunnel. She knew they weren’t going anywhere, but she had a sinking feeling that she would be too late. In the distance, she heard a motorcycle rev up followed by screams. She was still several miles from the tunnel and at this pace, it would take her another 20 minutes to get there.

Rather than take her previous route, Faith opted for something a little more straight forward. What she didn’t count on was the sheer cliff that her straight run had brought her to along with the 50 foot drop on the other side. She cursed to herself and was about to head back along the cliff to find an easier way down when she saw the RV. It was flying back along the road at top speed when it hit the edge and flew out over the lake, disappearing to the depths.
