Land of Timeless Mists.

"They're still out."

"I know Bobbi. That's the third time you've checked. Give it a rest."

"Hey. I may not flaunt it like the rest, but I have a medical degree too."

"I know honey, but what the guys need the most is rest."

Bobbi sighed. She knew that Clint was right, but these guys were her family. She couldn't stop fretting even if she wanted to. "Jackie, could I please have another scan?"

"Of course Dr. Morse." there were a few beeps, mostly for show, and with a ding again for show, and she gave Bobbi the same results she requested a few minutes ago.

Bobbi sighed and and sat next to Clint. He put his arm around her and tried to give her as much silent comfort as he could.

Joutenhiem.
Destroyed Ice Giants Camp.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but there were a lot more in this last batch than the last one." Tony was breathing heavy trying hard to get his breath back.

"You're not wrong." Natasha walked by on her way to the shelter. She voice activated the door and smashed through the thin sheet of ice covering the opening. "How's he doing Dr. Ross?" she asked Betty.

"Are you going to shoot him again?" Betty's hostility was leaking through. Ever since they made Frost her patient, she changed how she felt about the Ice Giant.

"I don't want to. The last shot should keep him out for about two more hours."

"You can't keep shooting him like this." Betty complained, "Come up with a different solution."

Natasha sighed. She hated working with humanitarians. They were so freaking 'human'. "Stark." she growled.

"Yes Miss 'She Bear' you growled..." The look Natasha gave him promised retribution. Evil, uncomfortable and icky kind of retribution that he knew she knew would annoy and maybe even hurt him the most. She had been his personal assistant for quite a while not too long ago. She knew just about everything there was to know about him. Whatever she came up with...it would hurt.

"Any chance we can move from this spot for a while?" she asked with gritted teeth.

"We need to be here when they come back, if we're not here, how are they gonna know that they're in the right place?"

"Don't you have a remote gadget that you can leave behind that will alert us and them, Jackie should still be with them. If they don't get the message, she at the very least will. You can tell her to sit tight while we come, to get them. I can't keep stunning our prisoner like this much more. I don't know how much permanent damage I'm doing to him."

"Thy heart does you credit fair maid. Had my heart not been pledged to another I would court thee."

"Then you, you should stay true to your love Lord Thor. I would not want to tempt you away from her."

"You are honorable, compassionate and beautiful. Fear not someone worthy of your heart will soon claim you." Thor left her and went back to removing the evidence of the battle.

"Is he for real?" Tony asked Bruce.

"Leave him alone. He meant every word." Natasha warned Tony.

"I, I'd listen to her." Bruce told Tony.

"Why?"

"Because if you don't she'll make it hurt real bad. Even I can see that much. Just because she doesn't act like most girls when they're that beautiful and desirable, it's still nice to hear. And If you are planning on teasing the one who told her so...let's just say that I want to be somewhere else when the pain starts."

"What pain?" Tony rolled his eyes. This was an unbelievable opportunity to really tease the big guy.

"Yours. I don't want to be connected to the chain of evidence in any way, shape or form. Got me?" Bruce walked off to help Thor with his chore. He picked up the bodies and flung them into LEO it would be a while before they came down, some where he wasn't.

'Aw man. This would have been such a perfect opportunity to tease both Tasha and thunder thighs. I know that Xander would have appreciated it. Plus he's the only one insane enough to tease Natasha besides Faith and Clint. And let's face it neither of those two are the poster children candidates for sane people. Hmm, I wonder why I still hang around them then? There's all that guilt by association thing.' Tony walked over tithe shelter and knocked.

"Yes? Can I help you?" asked Betty from inside.

"Looks like we're leaving soon. You might want to get your patient ready." Tony sighed and called JARVIS over to give her a hand.

JARVIS obeyed his creator and went to do just that.

"How are we going to move? Half of your transportation capability is someplace else." Bruce asked.

"JARVIS will carry the shelter with Betty and Mr. Frosty inside, Thor and I can follow behind and you can jump after us."

"Aren't you forgetting someone?" Bruce asked, looking at Natasha.

"I'll follow you guys later. I want to scout around a bit before I go." Natasha told Bruce.

"Alright, but if you need help just holler. The communicator should still be within range. Besides you can piggy-back the signal from the doohickey Tony will be leaving behind."

"Doohickey. Dr. Banner you are one of the most intelligent men on the planet and you still call it a doohickey?"

"What can I say? It sounds better. More down to earth." Bruce told her with a boyish grin.

"Enough with the flirting. You're not me. So let's go." Tony said when they were ready to go. He wasn't jealous. Not at all.

"Thank God for small favors." Bruce told Natasha with a huge smile on his face.

Natasha have him a genuine smile right back.

As soon as the remaining Avengers were gone she started to scout around.

Something about this spot wasn't right. She wanted to get to the bottom of it.
