Land of Timeless Mists.
Fenris was waiting at the edge if the mists for his sister to come back as she had promised to do before she left. He had diligently waited for her every day and most nights for the last six month. She was six month late.
Every night he would change, hunt his super and wait.
Tonight she came walking out of the mists. Fenris sniffed the and and almost gagged at the stench that assaulted his nostrils. Despite all that; beneath it all, it was still Hela. His sister.
Hela stopped ten paces away from Fenris. She wore a green banded armor, with a great helm underneath her left arm.
"Hela." he said simply.
"Fenris." she acknowledged his recognition of her and confirmed his identity for herself.
"You smell like death." he stated.
"I have become death." she confirmed.
Fenris looked into the eyes of his sister and saw two flaming skulls looking back at him, "What does death want? He asked formally.
Fenris thought about his answer before he replied, "Death can find me in this forest whenever it wants." he looked into her eyes and she saw the truth of his answer. She nodded her acceptance, turned and left.
Fenris watched her go, until she disappeared into the mists. He turned his head and looked at the two hidden wolves watching from cover in the forest. Their scent has been in his nostrils for a while now. He sighed, 'Gram and Joyce.' he thought.

'There goes yet another one.' Natasha observed. She was getting worried. Nothing to do, but think about all the things that could go wrong and what kind of contingency plans she could come up with, given the time. Apparently Clint and his friends were being generous. Giving her all this time to come up with one nightmare scenario after another. She really had to do something to return the favor.
'C'mon Clint. Get your ass back here. Stark is driving me crazy and I can't kill him from here.' she sighed as she went back to coming up with ways to kill Stark, in and out of his armor.
"Natasha report." Tony requested.
"No. Go away." she went back to meditating on all the gruesome ways she could kill someone. Namely someone by the surname of Stark.
Avengers Mountain Cave Camp.
"Is it me, or is Natasha getting weirder by the moment?"
"It's you. If you keep bothering the girl like that I'll take her side when she strings you up, by your own entrails. Leave her alone Tony. You can see as well as her what's going on in that damn place. She doesn't need you distracting her every few minutes. She's in a hard place and you're not helping." Bruce replied.
"It was a rhetorical question." Tony told him.
"Oh. Well that was my rhetorical answer. Take it as you will."
"HO THE CAMP!" came the shout from outside.
Tony redirected the external sensor towards the vicinity of the entrance, "Anyone recognize the hottie and the three clowns?"
Thor looked up from where he was talking to the shaman and saw the magic mirror, or the monitors as Stark liked to call them, "That is Sif and the Warriors Three. Where are they?"
"Just outside as a matter of fact." Tony answered.
"Could you let them in then friend Tony?" It may have been phrased as a request, but the tone was a command.
"Sure. Any friend of yours that looks like that is welcome, even if she comes with a bodyguard."
Thor laughed as Tony opened the cave's entrance, "Friend Tony, you'll find that Sif can guard herself. She has no need for anyone to fight her battles."
"THOR!" four surprised voices greeted Thor's laughter.
"Well met my friends. Come in out of the cold. Drinks for my friends JARVIS!"'
"Certainly sir. I exist to serve...drinks." JARVIS dry voice told another story.
Tony frowned, 'That AI of mine is growing up. He's becoming a surly teen. I'm so proud.' He then checked out Sif and the other three clowns. one micro second later he finished his examination of the clowns and devoted the rest of his observations to to the Hottie. 'I wonder if she's seeing anyone?'

Hela rode out of the mists on a skeletal horse. She dismounted and walked the rest of the way to her brother.
They sat together in silence.
Hidden in the woods two mated wolves watched the scene. The male growled and walked over. The female sighed, but she followed her mate.
Gram stopped in front of his siblings and changed back to his human form. "Hela..?"
"Gram." she didn't elaborate she let him say his piece, if he had something to say.
Joyce stopped beside her mate and transformed back as well. She watched, but didn't say anything.
Hela approved. She knew her place.
Joyce looked at them and snorted at their silliness, "Just hug her and get it over with." she pushed Gram at his
sister and sat next to Fenris. "Move over. You're hogging the best spot."
Hela smirked as her brother Fenris moved over, while Gram looked at her with uncertainty. She neither encouraged, or discouraged him.
"I missed you." he gave his sister a short hug and back off to see her reaction. A small smile was all he got back.
Gram smiled back. For now it was enough.
"I married into a crazy family." Joyce sighed and asked her husband, "Remind me why I married you again?"
"You're using me for sex." he gave her a wolfy smile.
She laughed and said, "Right. That's it." she snorted at the silly bugger. "The 'Rents' are still looking for you by the way." She stretched her legs and looked at the stars above.
"I know." Hela answered and stayed by her brothers and sister-in-law. It was a welcome break from being 'Death' all the time.
