QueenCA: So, yeah, I answered my own challenge (Challenge 7218: A Slayer and Three Lights). The pairings are: Buffy/Seiya, Faith/Taiki, and Dawn/Yaten. And read the challenge description~! This is for the 'Buffy is Kakyuu reborn' (or something like that) idea of the challenge. Enjoy~! And yes, I am looking for a beta. And if you have ideas, don't hesitate to send them my way. :)
Disclaimer: I don't own Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Sailor Moon...I'd be very rich if I did. All I own is the idea.
“I have to admit, I actually really like it here,” Dawn informed them from her position by the window. She had been reluctant to accompany her mom overseas to Japan, as were her sisters (now that Faith was a part of the family). But now that she was here, her opinion changed. She was really enjoying her time here, spent roaming the city they were in with the other two while Joyce was occupied with the business side of the trip.
“Yeah, I like it here too. It’s a nice change from old Sunnyhell, that’s for sure.” Faith added before glancing at Buffy. “What do you think, B?”
“It’s…different. And there’s…” Buffy trailed off, not knowing how to continue. Dawn and Faith shared a look.
“There’s what? Some big bad we have to deal with?” Faith questioned. She really didn’t want to deal with a vampire, demon, or anything of the sort while they were on ‘vacation’. Buffy just smiled and shook her head.
“No, it’s nothing like that. It’s just…I have this strange, warm feeling in my chest…in my heart. I don’t know why, but I feel at peace right now,” she told them. “Besides,” she continued, “we don’t have to deal with a ‘big bad’ while we’re here. Those…Sailor Senshi have it taken care of.”
“Ain’t that the truth? Bet the uniforms they wear could be a weapon of their own,” Faith teased. Dawn blushed, sending a halfhearted glare to the Dark Slayer.
“Faith~!” she whined, causing the older girl to laugh. Buffy just smiled again. She was about to comment when the door opened and Joyce walked in.
“Hey, Mom, you’re back!” Dawn cheered, moving to hug her. The older woman simply laughed, returning the hug.
“Did you girls have fun while I was busy?” she inquired, smiling at her three girls. Dawn grinned up at her.
“We did. We went to that nearby arcade and played some of the games for a little bit,” she began.
“Then we went and did a bit of ‘souvenir shopping’ for the gang back home,” Buffy continued.
“And we ended with grabbing some dinner and coming back here,” Faith concluded. Joyce smiled once more.
“Well, I’m sure that you girls, being so busy, wouldn’t want to go to a concert tomorrow night?” she asked, giving them an innocent look as she pulled out three tickets, waving them in front of the girls.
“A concert…tomorrow? What band is it?” Dawn asked.
“And how did you get tickets?” Faith wondered. Joyce just continued to smile.
“Oh, one of the people I’m negotiating with got these as a sort of incentive, as well as a welcome to Japan gift. It’s a popular band, called the Three Lights. This is their farewell concert, so I thought I’d give them to you girls and let you go have some fun,” Joyce informed them. She suddenly found herself surrounded by her girls.
“Thanks mom!” Elsewhere…
“This is our last chance,” Yaten announced.
“Then we must make it our best performance,” Taiki agreed.
“For our princess, we will shine brighter than ever before, in hope our song reaches her,” Seiya added.
“For the princess!”
