The seventh chevron locked. The wormhole connected.

“CLOSE THE IRIS!”

The technician did as he was told.

“General! The Iris is inoperative!”

Hammond picked up the phone. He bellowed, “Defense teams to the Gateroom!”

O’Neill and Teal’c looked at each other and ran out of the control room. They reappeared seconds later in the Gateroom; the Colonel was holding a Zat, as was the Jaffa.

Carter’s voice echoed, “Sir, I’m getting some really strange readings...”

The wormhole turned red, and spat out a lone figure.

It stood up and looked around.

“Huh. Weird.”

Jack bellowed, “Identify yourself!”

“Hi, I’m Oz.”
