I do not own anything but plot, and that's only sort of.Naming the Good
The sun was nearing its dawn and the day would soon rise. And that was the one thing the figure at the edge of O'Connell Mansion needed. He had set out the previous week to say his apologize to the families of his victims... And O'Connell was most definitely on the list. He'd killed the man's parents right in front of his eyes. Rick had been six.
Now, Angelus could feel the weight of his guilt upon his shoulders. Like the world was upon his shoulders. Such a horrible feeling it was, but he knew he deserved this after all that he had done to all of those innocent people... men... women... children...
"I'm a horrid creature." he stated to himself and himself alone.
As he reached the door of the great house he moved his right hand up to the knocker, only to stop it half way. What would Rick do if he saw him? Stake him? Hit him? It'd be no less than you deserve.
a small voice said in the back of his mind.
That was true...
He reached up and banged the griffin head knocker against the oak and waited. He started to wonder about Rick and how the yank had managed to get over to England. Until he heard footsteps descend the staircase inside. He chanced a backward glance and his eyes widened at seeing an orange glow off in the distance.
The sun was about to rise.
His attention returned to the door when he heard it open. There he stood, Richard O'Connell, in nothing but white and blue pin-striped pajama pants.
"Who are you?" he snapped.Touchy little American.
"Liam Angelus." Liam replied.
The man's eyes were wide and Liam could smell the anger rising. He never saw the fist coming. He groaned as the other man grabbed him by the throat and tossed him into the house.
"What're you doing here, Angelus?" Rick growled out, looming over his body on the floor.
"I came to apologize."
"Oh, yeah, sure. The evil bastard vampire, Liam Angelus, comes to apologize."
"Please don't call me that." he said in a quiet voice.
"What?" Rick snapped.
"Oh, on a first-name-basis with your victims now?"
"O'Connell, I am not having a very good unlife at the moment, alright?" Liam snapped, "I've been cursed by gypsies, stewing in my own guilt for a couple hundred years, forced to feed from pigs, and made to feel like I should fucking apologize. Now shut the hell up and don't call me Angelus."
Rick didn't look impressed at all. "Fine, Angel."9:12 am
