Andrew paused to take a breath, but Mary, one of the newer Slayers, spoke first.
"God, Andrew, I wish you would go away!" Mary shouted.
Willow looked up from the text she was reading and stared in horror (or maybe relief) as Andrew vanished with a pop.
Kaylee was looking at Serenity's engine when she heard a pop behind her. Curious (and a little afraid) she turned.
Standing with a look of hurt and fear on his face was a young man.
"Where am I?" He asked, after spotting her where she was nearly hidden by the bulk of the engine.
"You're on the Serenity. Where did you come from, how did you do that, and I think I'll stop now before I start to babble."
Any reply the young man could have made was cut off before it could begin.
The shout came from the doorway. The stranger spun around and saw a young dark haired woman. An older man followed.
"Hey, Simon," Kaylee said as she edged around the young man nervously.
"You don't belong here. You belong then." River stated. She seemed to make the young man nervous.
"Ah..." He didn't have time to say anything else as Wash's voice came over the intercom.
"Hold on folks Reavers on our tail!"
"What..." The sudden lurching knocked him over and out.
". . . So that's where I came from." The subdued voice of Andrew was left to fade into silence as the Captain and crew of Serenity considered the young mans story.
"Can't you wish yourself back?" Inara asked.
"I've tried." Was the rather sulky reply
"Fine, -I- wish you gone!" The sulking boy was beginning to get on Mal's nerves. None was as surprised as Mal when Andrew dissappeared with a pop.
