* * *

She could feel those cold grey eyes penetrating her, still, even having left the stupid place.

It was like he was looking into her soul, and she knew, in that instant, that he knew.

He KNEW.

No-one was supposed to know...well, no-one human. Was he human? He was giving off an odd vibe.

And...a stick - he was carrying a stick that was way to thin to stake a vamp with.

How did he know?

He was looking at her, clutching his stick, and scratching his arm.

Wierd much? And not just 'evil-demons-blood-sucking-hell-on-earth' kind of wierd. The seriously freaky 'I know who you are' wierd. The 'I stalk people professionally' wierd.

Yeh...there was definately something off about him.

Dawn Summers tossed her hair over her shoulder, and put it into a loose ponytail. So maybe she would tell Giles. "Hi Giles, this guy with a stick was following me." It sounded dumb in her head, let alone spoken aloud.

Nevermind. She was probably just imagining things. After all - how can you tell by a look if someone knew that you were...say a ball of human shaped energy?
