The sweat, the moonlight & the lace

I do not own Lord of the Rings or Buffy the Vampire Slayer or anything to do with each except well the normal merchandising :P Nor do I own the song 'That Summer' by Garth Brooks. Lower rating for now, may get higher later on. Dedicated to Zoe for pairing Faith up with Haldir...yummy :)

Set in Cleveland after season 7 for Buffy {There was no Kennedy, and Anya survived.} For LOTR it is set during The Fellowship of the Ring in the movie-verse {sorry but Orlando Bloom was soo damn yummy, I'm having a weak moment here}

“Walk towards the abyss,” he cooed softly. “Yesss…go on…that’s it.”

A water like portal shimmered in the moonlight as Ethan Rayne beckoned Willow Rosenberg to step through the portal, out of danger…out of the cemetery… out of HIS WAY.

The trance he put her in was working quite well; she was following his every word. He needed Willow out of the way, he was going to banish every witch and warlock so none could stop him during his quest for global domination.

He was banishing each of them to random dimensions with no chance of escape. But first he had to get rid of one of Ripper’s little pets, the mousy little researcher Willow had turned into quite the witch. If anyone were going to find out and spoil his plans by squealing to Ripper it would be her. And he didn’t need any slayers sent to come around just yet, hence Willow being his first candidate for portal hopping.

“Hold it right there creep,” Faith drawled.

“Oh look another one of Ripper’s little pets.”

“Look, I don’t know what you’re talkin’ about, just let Red go so I can kick your ass.”

“Quite a feisty little kitten aren’t you?” Ethan quipped before quickly chanting a couple of words to form a fireball in his hand. He threw it at Faith who ducked out of the way with ease. She lunged for Ethan and they struggled before landing on the ground. Ethan cracked his head on a tombstone on the way down. Faith felt for a pulse but there wasn’t any. Behind her she heard a suctioning sound get louder and louder.

“Willow…” Faith called out, but she didn’t see Willow in time before she was pulled through the portal and it snapped closed.
