Lane Cranston was trying to escape the man following him. The man’s mind was clouded, so he shouldn’t know Lane was there. But the slight man was relentless. Lane could not make a move without the man tracking him. The man had not broken any law, so Lane despised the idea of hurting him. Growing frustrated, Lane Cranston led the stranger down an abandoned alley. He revealed himself.

The man nodded as if it were expected.

“Your mind was clouded, you couldn’t see me,” started Lane.

“I could hear and smell.”

Lane paused. “Would you be interested in trading secrets?”
