Title: Seeing and Not Seeing

Author: Nopporn Wongrassamee aka The Evil Author

Summary: One sees. The other does not. That’s all they have in common.

Disclaimer: The characters and settings belong to whoever owns them. I’m just too lazy to look up who they are.

For the TTH Nazis... er, I mean Moderators: Crossover between BtVS and Harry Potter (Seeing) and David Weber's Honor Harrington (Not Seeing).

Seeing

Tailing is an art. In a busy Diagon Alley, an invisibility cloak is useless, giving you away by the people bumping into you. Visible, a man of “Mad Eye” Moody’s distinctive features stood out. So the best way to tail a man was to not appear to be tailing him at all. So he simply appeared to be greeting friends and accosting old foes at random, all the while keeping his magic eye on his target.

It helped to be able to see through walls.

So when he ran into Harry and his new girlfriend, his eye remained firmly fixed on his quarry. She seemed like a nice girl. But when Harry and Dawn crossed his special eye’s line of sight…

“Merlin!”

Not Seeing

She could feel people. Over the years, this special ability had both served her well and caused tremendous angst. With complete strangers, the former was more often the case. The man she was meeting was a stranger, an investor from the League looking for business opportunities. She expected to read him like a book.

But when she met him, it was like meeting a hole in the world. As far as she could tell, he simply was not there. Her partner’s shock meant that it wasn’t just her. The man spoke…

“Steadholder Harrington? My name is Angel…”
