“No, absolutely not!” Ginny Weasley stated forcefully.

Charles Gunn sighed before glaring with some heat at the feisty red-headed barrister standing before him. “Ms. Weasley, you have been employed by Wolfram and Hart for exactly two days. You,” he said pointing at her, “are in no position to refuse this assignment, especially as the Senior Partners hired you specifically to handle cases particular to the wizarding world.”

“Not this case,” was the stubborn reply.

“Why not? Why won’t you take the Malfoy case?”

“Because,” she said with cold menace, “I won’t defend a man who once tried to kill me.”
