Xander stood in the open door to his bedroom, blinked, rubbed his
eyes, blinked once more and then took a second look. Nope, he was
still there.

He being the hog-tied and gagged male lying on his bed glaring at him.
The hog-tied male with the big red bow around his neck. Did he
mentioned the glare already? For it was a damned fine glare and
if he hadn't gone through the Slayer's School of bi-monthly doom
he might have been seriously intimidated.

But so he just walked to the bound man and read aloud the card that
had been part of the strange delivery.

"Dear Xander,

You might not remember me, but I am Dan'Yarrl, Patron Saint of the
broken Hearted. We met shortly at your almost-wedding to my cousin
Anyanka. Now Anya has gained Redemption thanks to you and I still
owed you a wish.
So when you wished for someone to share the holidays with, who would
believe the story of your life, I started to look around and found
him.

Take good care of the foxy one, he will be good for you.

Dan'Yarrl

PS: Merry Christmas"

Xander blinked, looked down at his bound 'gift' who was blinking up at
him with a similar look of surprise.

"Well then," Xander muttered, "Merry Christmas to me."

And started to untie his 'gift'.
