Dear Murray,
I took your advice and went looking for somewhere to workout. It does help me think and sleep when I’ve sweated some during the day. I asked Dawn and she invited me to a part of the Giles’ house that I’ve never been before. Apparently, Buffy is some sort of self-defense teacher. She’s good. Like your level of good. After stretching, she set me up to spar with one of the guys from my class. (I was surprised by how many of my classmates wandered in and out of the workout room. Most of them are geek-skinny.)
I say that she’s your level of good for two reasons. The first is that she just happened to pick a spar partner that was near my level of hand-to-hand, just from seeing me stretch. We were pretty evenly matched until I used a Jaffa move. Buffy saw it happen, stopped my match with Kurt, called over a partner for her and
used the exact same move on her spar partner. She got it right the very first time! She said that she liked my style and wanted to know who taught me.
Now she wants to meet you.
Love,
Cassie
