Dear Daniel,
Sam’s being a poop-head. I know that things are busy at work, but since she got a guy, she hasn’t written me at all. And now I miss Sam and I refuse to write her about important things if she isn’t writing me. I had a dream about Mom and no one to tell it to. So I’m telling you, ‘cause I really don’t want to add to Jack’s stress and Murray –well, I love Murray and all but he is not the guy to go to to talk about disturbing dreams.
So yeah, the dream.
Mom was there, sitting on the side of my bed. But the weird thing is that it was my bed in my London apartment, not the one of our house in Colorado Springs. She sits on the side of my bed and hums and brushes my hair off my face. She doesn’t say anything. But she is smiling. So she’s happy wherever she is. It felt so real! I’ve had dreams before, but Mom always talked in those. And in this one, she was see-through. Why would my dreams of my mother suddenly change?
Oh well,
Thanks for writing me,
Love,
Cassie
