Daniel,
Did Jack tell you what he did? About the plane tickets? Did he tell you that he volunteered you to be my guide if I don't make the cut for Giles' dig? Yup, Jack is talking about releasing you from the base for my benefit. Have you been working too much again? I want to be mad at him for being so high-handed but most of me is just too thrilled. Honestly, I think it would be more fun to explore Greece with you than to be stuck at a dig. I'm a lot like you in some respects. You and I could go to a remote town and then ask the people there for the old history and myths that belong to that town. We would hear the stories and then we could look around and try to find archeological proof to either back it up or to dispute it.
Wouldn't that be fun?
The more I think about it, the more that appeals to me. I could probably tell Dawn to take me out of the running. I could learn from you and someone else would get to go to the Dig instead.
Gotta go,
Love,
Cassie
