Jack!
You are too cool! You know that, right? Sending flowers to my apartment? You are too cool for words! You just made my day so much and I needed it, Dr. Giles had popped a quiz. I think I cried, okay, I know I cried when I saw the card on the flowers, but they were happy tears. I love you all so much. You especially, Jack. And thanks for having everyone sign the card. The florist had taken the fax that you sent them and glued it to a big card. It was very tastefully done. Now I know that everyone is alive. You knew that I used to walk home from high school a certain way so that I’d pass as many of the base personnel’s houses as possible, right? That way, I knew that everyone was still alive. I would walk a lot on the days when Mom couldn’t come home. It was comforting seeing people mowing their lawns. I always got a silly smile on my face, but they all understood.
I need to go, but since you’re not answering your phone I decided to e-mail you, so that you’d know.
MANY THANKS!Love,
Cassie
