Daniel,
I am learning some German. And Spanish. So many of my classmates are from other countries. You wouldn’t believe some of the words that I’m learning. I’m teaching them Egyptian in exchange. I impressed Dr. Giles with my knowledge with ancient Egyptian as well as modern. He’s fluent in both. The man is absolutely amazing. Are you sure that you don’t want to hire him to help in your department? I think you and Jack should hire half of my classmates. Sometimes I feel so dumb in comparison. No matter what language Dr. Giles alludes to in class, somebody knows it. Many times, it’s Dawn. She’s lived with Dr. Giles for years so she has a step up from most of us, but she’s willing to translate for the rest of us. I don’t know where her dad is, but I do know that she thinks of Dr. Giles as her father figure.
Buffy does too. I don’t get it. From the stories that I’ve heard, Giles ‘adopted’ Buffy long before he had met Dawn.
Oh well. Buffy’s feelings on Dr. Giles are not on my next test. The nomads of the Tigris/Euphrates’ rivers are.
Gotta book,
Love,
Cassie
