Door Number: Dawn
"Here we go again" Xander and Andrew regripped their swords as Buffy pulled the ax from behind her and Willow mumbled in hushed tones. SG-1 and Jacob had questions about the conversation between the 'civilians' and the hidden NID command center, but they were pushed out of mind when the doors swung open. These foes were not looking like what they had encountered off world. A slightly bluish tinged light flashed slightly in front of Willow, leaving behind a skinny brown and blue haired, red leather wearing, and crystal blue eyed woman, Illyria was now on the scene.
"Why have you brought me to wade in this muck?"
"Blue, look there. Muck you can kill."
"This I will enjoy."
"Summers what is going on here? This was supposed to be a simple breaking and entering rescue mission?"
The eruption of demons swarmed right toward the armed rescue squad. With three slayers, a witch, two humans, an old one, and five space gallivanting commandos the fight was a wild melee. Teal'c's staff weapon fire and Willow's fire-y energy balls seared some of the demons as Illyria, or Blue as she was sometimes called, tossed pieces of demons out of her way. Xander and Andrew worked side by side to cut down each enraged demon as they came into swinging distance. SG-1 and Jacob stuck to weapons and methods they were familiar with, zat weapons fire and the trust in teammates forged through many fights with their lives on the line. Jenn and Tiff danced the graceful dance of a slayer, a beautiful dance but at the level of amateur. Knowing what was on the line with the rebirth of the initive, Buffy danced as a master to be awed. Buffy decisively annihilated any and all that was in her way to the center stronghold, the only place left for her imprisoned sister. Greenish blood dripping off of the ax in her hands, Buffy directed Teal'c to blast a hole in the door to the stronghold. Dawn's ax, a gift from a family of friends, wielded by a sister for the rescue.
Blasting a whole in the door, that was widened by Blue and Teal'c, the rescuers squeezed into to the previously self contained stronghold. Jenn, Tiff, Blue, and Andrew stayed out so they could check down the stairs for any remaining demons. McNamara and Adrian Conrad had been hunched over a computer display until the wall was breached.
"Where is she?"
"Shouldn't you be asking the questions O'Neill? I want to know what is a military flunky to you slayer, considering you and your traitors destroyed my base."
"She is my sister. Now tell me where she is or I will feed what is left of your nearly dead carcass to the demons out there after we all have a turn playing with your sorry body."
"If you want her..." The General unlocked and opened a door a crack, stepping back out of the way.
