Alright, this is my first published story here, and I’m not sure how well it turned out. I wrote it one night, when I couldn't sleep, while listening to the song in the fic, called Broken.

Disclaimer: I dont own any persons in the fic, or the song Broken, by Seether and Amy Lee, the story is all mine though *cackle*

Please feel free to correct me if there is any mistakes, after all it was written in the small hours and I haven’t been able to find anything myself, at the moment atleast, but please also consider that English is my second language. ;)

Ohh, and I love reviews!

Broken Inside - Torn Outside

I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh

I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away

His eyes followed her through the room, roaming. Taking the sight that was her, knowing he could never have her, his goddes. He knew she didn’t like him, no, he knew she hated him, and it was killing him in those sleepness nights of his, all alone. He bet she didn’t even know how he really felt, probably saw him as an enemy, or a git, who knew what went on in that clever, beautiful little head of hers.

I keep your photograph and I know it serves me well

I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

God, he wanted to hold her in his arms, soothe her pain away, he could see that pain sometimes, when she thought no one was watching, but he was always watching, making sure nobody harmed his girl, of course she didn’t know that either, and she would never know either, if it stood to him, he was too bloody afraid of her turning her back to him, if he ever told her, and no one turned their back to him.

'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

And I don't feel right when you're gone away

You've gone away, you don't feel me, anymore

Sudden her eyes connected to his, she had caught him starring! But instead of resent, anger, pain or any of the feelings he had expected, he saw nothing. Her face was blank, and it scared him more than anything before ever had, she wasn’t supposed to be blank, she should be laughing with some of her stupid friends, concentrating on something from her work, hell even crying was better than that.

Swallowing the rest of the burning liquid in his glass he finally made his way over to her, and stood infront of her, unmoving. He refused to look in her eyes, pretending to be absorbed in the painting hanging behind her.

The worst is over now and we can breathe again

I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away

There's so much left to learn, and no one left to fight

I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

A muffled sniffle broke his trance, and he watched as a single tear traveled down her cheek, dropping down on the table she was sitting at. Her coffeecup was untouched, going cold slowly, he only hoped it was only the coffee that was going cold, he wouldn’t survive it, if she broke.

'Cause I'm broken when I'm open

And I don't feel like I am strong enough

'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

And I don't feel right when you're gone away

Sitting down next to her on the small couch, he gently pulled her into his embrace and let her cry. Sobs wrecked through her small frame as he tried to comfort her, not used to displaying any sort of emotions himself.

'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

And I don't feel right when you're gone away

You've gone away

You don't feel me here anymore

Eventually she stopped crying and moved away from him again, a question clear in her slightly puffy face. He smiled slightly and stroked over her lower lip with his tumb, feeling it tremble.

“Please don’t cry,” his voice was hoarse, as if it had been him pouring his heart out, and maybe it had, he just wasn’t showing it as it could be considered a weakness, after all, a Malfoy didn’t show weaknesses, especially not infront of a mudblood.

“I love you,” or maybe they did.
