Seeing Yellow

The window shatters. Tara says "...your shirt," falls.


Willow cradles her, watches the wound close. Tara gasps, eyes yellow, growls, leaps for the window, is gone.


Outside Buffy is hurt, Xander trying to help. Willow hurries out, uses her magic to stabilise her. In the distance more shots, then Warren screams.


"Better stop her," says Xander.


"Why?" Willow says coldly. "Bullet went through Tara's heart."


"Lucky it wasn't silver. How's Buffy?"


"I think she'll make it."


The screaming stops. Xander gets the tranquilliser gun and sets out after Tara, saying "Good thing Oz bit her before the Initiative caught up with them."
