Faith flexed her trussed legs with as much Slayer strength as she could. The reinforced cable broke and span out across the rooftop.

Expertly flipping herself over to land on the edge of the parapet, Faith was not expecting the muttered “Metahuman. Huh.” Or the powerful blow to her stomach sending her flying backwards and downwards.

Falling down the tall Gotham alleyway, Faith bounced off one fire escape, then another, before finally grabbing hold of the last one and halting her momentum with a vicious jerk.

Panting and pissed off, Faith snarled upwards “Of course, you know this means war.”
