Feedback, It's the coin of the realm.

Flight en route to Washington, DC

Xander sat in his first class seat just sleeping, knowing he might not get it when he lands. With the help of two sisters of Slayers, who happened to be models and be seen entering his apartment without anyone caring, he was packed and ready to go in an hour. They kissed him on the cheek as he was getting into his cab. The driver couldn’t stop smiling all the way to Heathrow.

There were no problems with the potion. Xander had very carefully over the last 6 months gotten all the ingredients to the mystics. The Scoobies had no knowledge of the book when they were in Sunnydale. So they never knew to look into the potion that Xander needed. The mystics never picked up, or didn’t bother to notice the extra ingredients they were getting. Xander was in charge of supply and maintenance, after all. On top of his caring for the youngest Slayers like an older brother would.

The flight was entirely uneventful. The food was barely edible. The movie was the censored version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. ‘How I hated that version. Tim Drake shooting the Joker was more dramatic than Tim shoving the Joker into a vat of liquid and Joker accidentally electrocuting himself. I’m so glad they released the unrated version of it.’

Dulles International Airport

There were two men in suits waiting at the terminal for the international flight from London to land. Their manner screamed Secret Service. Everyone there, including airport security gave them all the space they needed. When they saw a man in his twenties with an eye patch, they approached him.

“Alexander Harris?” Xander slowly reached into his pocket and showed his diplomatic immunity identification.

“That’s me. You should know that I don’t know where Mr. Anderson is.” The two Secret Service agents looked at him with the expression of, “Like we’ve never heard that joke before.”

“We’re with President Palmer’s detail. If you would get your bags, we’ll take you to his hotel so you can freshen up before you see him.” Xander nodded and went to retrieve his luggage. His new skills told him that they weren’t trying to be deceitful. He’d have to keep them close in case they were trying to get him, since he didn’t have any weapons on his person at this time.

The ride to the hotel was done with no conversation at all, by anyone in the black sedan. Xander’s one eye did it’s best to know the terrain in case escape was necessary. The two Secret Service agents looked back on Xander every so often. Just to make sure he was breathing. When the black government Sedan arrived at the hotel Xander was registered in, he grabbed his bags and went to check in. One of the Secret Service agents walked up to him while he was waiting in line.

“Mr. Harris, when you freshen up and get some rest, President Palmer would like to met you. He’s heard of you through Jack, and would like to get to know you as well.”

“Fine. Inform President Palmer I’ll see him in about 6 hours. That was a long flight and I’m exhausted.”

“One of us will be outside your door when you leave so we can escort you to President Palmer’s suite.” Xander walked to the elevator, followed by a bell boy.

“See you in about 6 hours.”
