Author's Note: Since there were several requests for more, I've decided to continue the story. Right now I'm not exactly sure where to go with it as I had intended it for a one shot. And since I believe that Willow would have helped the Fang Gang out I figured that would be something to focus on while I try to figure out exactly what will happen.
Willow collapsed on her bed after she had gotten her cousin and his godson settled. She grabbed blindly for the remote on her bed stand and when she reached it, flicked the television onto a news channel.
After so many years doing research among her friends, she found it hard to think in quite. The television would give her appropriate background noise while she thought. And she had a lot to think about, even more now, considering her cousin and his godson’s appearance. She was quite certain that the pair of them were on the run, but from what? And completely un-related was the uneasy feeling that had been bothering her for almost a month, the same feeling that had brought her to England in hopes that it would ease the feeling.
Her musings were interrupted by a small explosion from downstairs. Sighing she pushed herself into a sitting position and swung her legs over the edge of the bed. When she heard the breaking of glass she growled to herself and quickly made her way downstairs, ready for the worst. When she saw what happened she couldn’t help but start laughing.
Somehow Severus and Draco had managed to torch the microwave and then in an attempt to put out the fire they had managed to break several dishes and get water all over the counter and floor. It seems that Slayers aren’t the only ones hard on appliances.
She thought to herself as she carefully unplugged the microwave. She pulled it off the counter and handed it to Severus. “Take that into the sitting room, please.” She said.
She turned to Draco. “There’s a broom and dust pan in there.” She said pointing to a door. “Please clean up the glass and throw it into the trash while I take care of this water.”
The blond looked like he was about to argue but a stern glare from Willow and his godfather’s earlier warning soon shut him up.
Willow sighed as she pulled a towel off the handle of the stove and started to soak up the water on the counter. As she worked she muttered to herself about how she didn’t have time to baby sit.
After everything was cleaned, Willow turned to look at her two guests. “What happened?” She asked.
Draco scowled. “You said to help ourselves, I was hungry.”
“I forgot to remind my godson to remove the tinfoil from the food before hand.” Severus sneered. “We’re not used to microwaves.” Or preparing our own food without magic.
He thought to himself.
Willow shook her head. “I’ll order delivery and tomorrow we’ll go over kitchen safety. I really can’t afford to replace the kitchen right now.”
Severus put a disgusted expression on his face about that, but was secretly calmed about the fact that he would get a refresher on a muggle kitchen. Draco just nodded sulkily.
“Chinese or Pizza?” She asked.
“Chinese.” Severus said.
“Anything in particular?” Willow asked.
“No thank you. What ever you order will be fine.” Severus said for the both of them, knowing Draco would be completely lost.
Willow nodded and moved over to the phone. She pulled the phone book out of the draw and flipped through it until she found a close Chinese restraint and placed an order. After she hung up she retrieved some money and placed it by the phone.
“I’m going back up to my room.” She said. “There should be enough money to cover the tab. Please don’t make a mess.” When she received an affirmative sound she went upstairs and back to her room.
As she walked into her room she was greeted by the words of the newscaster. “And in other news, some gangs in Los Angeles, California, have decided to have a costumed shootout.” From an overhead shot she was able to recognize several of the demons there as well as Angel, a Spike-look-a-like and Gunn.
“Just great.” She said to herself as she grabbed an overnight pack and started packing it with weapons and magic supplies. While she was packing, she grabbed her phone and quickly dialed Faith’s number knowing that she was the most senior slayer in the states.
