“Kaylee, surely you don’t believe that, do you?” Simon asked as she ranted in his room.

“But what am I supposed to think? It’s a rather large secret don’t you think?” she responded.

Simon shook his head, he knew Willow hadn’t meant to keep it a secret but just hadn’t worked out how to tell Kaylee. She was worried about her reaction, only it made the reaction so much worse.

“Simon, I’m scared I’m going to loose her…”

“Kay…”

“No, hear me out. She now knows Dawn can reach her any time she wants, so what’s to say the next time Dawn visits, she doesn’t go with her?”

“Because it was her choice to stay here this time, and if the two of you get your act in order, she will choose to remain here again.”
