“Things had progressed between us, and I had introduced Tara to the others. At first they were a bit shocked that I was dating a girl but as they began to know her, they understood. Things were going well… I had progressed in using magic and even managed to find the spell to bring Buffy back from the dead.”

Kaylee grimaced a little, remembering when she first heard Willow talk about it… it was before she really understood how little was known about Earth-That-Was.

“Then we were visited by a demon named Sweet. He was preceded by music everywhere he went… people would begin to sing and dance instead of talking; revealing deep secrets. Buffy revealed that she hadn’t been in hell like we had thought…” she sobbed a little as she spoke remembering the song. “She had been in heaven and we had torn her out of there, taken away her reward.”

A gasp echoed in the small room as Kaylee released why Willow had so much emotion in her voice whenever she spoke about it.
