Title: Underneath the Polar Star

Xander stepped out on desk. It was early. His still working watch showed him that it was nearly five o’clock in the morning.
It was still dark and he looked up to the star-spangled night sky and quickly searched for and found the polar star.
The star was one of the three constants in his new life that he could completely rely on. He smiled up at the sky.
Then he went over to the helm and put his arms around the man who stood behind it and attended to it.
“Hey, love,” he whispered into the man’s – the captain’s – neck.
Xander nudged four or five dreads away with his nose – one of them jingled, small trinkets clinkered – and sucked a dark hickey on then dark, salty skin of the captain’s neck.
Made him hum, “Hmm, luv.”
Xan pressed his whole body against Jack and made him step a step closer to the helm together with him. Put his hands next to Jack’s and caressed her.
“She is happy tonight, luv,” Jack said. “She is,” Xander answered, his voice muffled by Jack’s skin. “She will be even happier after I have smoothed out those nasty splinters at her railing.”
“She will,” Jack agreed.
Xander sighed and cuddled closer to Jack.
The polar star, Jack Sparrow and the Black Pearl. What more did he need?
