Broken Stakes

by Dragonfire

disclaimer- I don't own BTVS or AB worlds

A/N The first chapter was the first fanfic I wrote. I've decided to continue it as a crossover, though it won't happen for the first few chapters

***********

White light and visions flashed in her mind's eye. The first
slayer. Flash. Blood flowing in veins. Flash. Staking vamps on patrol.

Flash.

Buffy's head snapped back from Dracula's wrist. A rush of power
and excitement filled her senses. Her thought processes halted- all
she could hear was Dracula's words:

Find it, the darkness
Find it your nature

She had known about her nature, had felt darkness, and had shied
away from it. The darkness was cold and unwelcoming. It scared her, she feared the darkness more than the lose of her humanity.

But that was past tense. The taste of blood had reintroduced her
to the darkness. The power, the bliss, the rightness. She felt complete with that taste of blood.

Dracula's voice pulled her back to reality, "You feel it, don't
you? How the darkness feels complete, feels so right." His entire
demeanor was seductive, and God help her she didn't want to pull away
yet. His next question stopped her though, "Do you want more?"

Buffy knew he wasn't offering more blood. He was offering to turn her. Did she want it? The loss of her life and most likely her
soul? Herself?

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
'It will all be over soon,' Xander thought. His being the weak
one, the one without any superpowers. The butt monkey. It would all be over.

Soon he would be immortal. He would be able to help the gang. And
if they had so many concerns about it, he would get a soul. Willow had become very powerful these days.

Maybe the Scoobies would even stay together. Anya didn't like
being mortal and she knew Dracula. Willow and Tara could become
vampires, or they could find another way for immortality. After all he
had seen Willow as a vampire. Despite the sexual vibes, Vamp Willow scared him. Giles complained about his age and not feeling needed. When were turned Buffy would need his help, for help and as a father figure.

Xander would be turned when Dracula was finished with Buffy. He
was probably turning her right now. At first Xander thought she
wouldn't want it. She was a vampire slayer afterall. But his Master
had told him otherwise. She wanted it, but she was scared of what they would think. So he would be her friend. Xander wanted her to be happy.

Yes, soon they would all be together, in blood. Well almost everyone.

He looked down at Riley's limp body. The fool wanted to rescue
Buffy. As if he could stop the Dark Lord. Dracula would deal with him
later.

Soon.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Giles was in heaven. Well maybe not heaven, but something close.
Bliss. He had tasted forbidden fruits and was still hungry.

The three sisters, 'wives of Dracula', were doing the most amazing things to his body. He understood now why so many slayers
took vampire lovers. They were so much better than humans.
The pain, the pleasure, the ecstasy. The caresses and bites. He could feel himself getting harder. He never wanted it to end.

"We could make it so," said one of the sisters, reading his mind.
"Do you want it?"

Did he want it? Did he want pleasure eternal? Immortality? An
escape from the drone modicum of his life? He would be a fool not to
want it.

"Yes, turn me. Please," Giles begged.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

"Do you want it?"

Buffy could feel the darkness in her answering. She had always
wanted it. Only her nature kept her from submitting to death.

"Why fight it any longer? Don't be alone any longer, drink;
you belong here. "She could no longer deny Dracula words. She wanted to know herself.

Perhaps she had always been afraid because it was her destiny.
Maybe one day her friends would understand her decision.

When Dracula asked again, she gave her answer.

"Yes."
. . . . .
