Spike slowly opened his eyes…to close them shortly after.
“Will you wake up already? I’m not going to wait for you all night, you know.”
“Slayer, care to explain why I’m with you, tied up to a car seat?” he asked the little blond.
“Yep. You see, nobody wants to teach me how to drive. So I hit you with a crowbar, tied you to the seat and now, I will listen carefully to my new teacher.”
Spike’s eyes narrowed. “Not bloody likely!”
“Aw, come on. It’s not like you’ve got something else to do.” She batted her eyelashes and gave him a huge smile. “Pleeeeease?”
Buffy’s smile disapeared but she wasn’t going to give up. She pouted to him and stucked out her tongue. Spike just laughed at her face. “All right, pet. I’ll teach you.” Buffy let out a cry of victory and started the engine. “Have you ever drove before?” he asked his enemy.
“Hum…well…yeah but I…kinda destroyed a bit my mother’s car. OK. What do I do?”
“You push on the gas, then..Aaaaah!” The car went too fast and she pushed on the breaks too fast. “Are you trying to kill yourself?!”
“Sorry, Spike. I guess I pushed too much on the gas,” looking embarassed.
Then he got an idea. “Slayer, it will be better if I weren’t all tied up.” She stared at him. “Hum…at least I tried. Let’s try it again. You push on the gas.” The car started to move slowly. “Slayer?” She looked at him. “You can go faster, you know.”
Soon, they were out of town. But Spike started to worry about the time. “It wouldn’t be a bad idea to go back to Sunnyhell. I want to be home before sunrise.”
“Don’t worry, Spikey. You’ll be home fast.”
His thoughts were cut short when the car screached as Buffy turned the weels in one swift movement. “Lucky me. I can’t get sick.”
“Stop whining,” Buffy replied. “If not, I’m going to gag you.” Spike groaned. “And you better not turn ‘grrr’ on me.”
For the first time of his vampiric life, Spike prayed.
The car stopped at the factory. “Are you going to untie me already?”
“Patience is a virtue, Spikey. So, when is the next class of How to drive?”
“In the next century, luv. Now cut those ropes, would you!” She didn’t made a move. “I’ll kiss you if you don’t cut those ropes,” he told Buffy.
“You won’t kiss me.”
“Then, I will be oblige to punish you with a new outside class, luv.”
“And what will that be?” she asked.
“How ‘bout How to use the backseat?”
“Lets go for it!” she yelled. Spike didn’t have the time to move before Buffy pull on the ropes. She dumped him on the backseat and launched herself on him.
Spike smiled to himself.
