Hermione's POV

Willow leads me to the room where Ginny is sleeping. Her sleep is fitful. Willow refuses to tell me how the death sentence on her was to be carried out. It must have been something awful to make her eyes fill with tears.

Ginny's hair had been cut very short. Standard procedure for witches sentenced to death. I saw it several times at Azkaban. They would tie the poor woman or girl to a wooden shake on the breach and let her drown at high tide if they decided on a quick death. Then call it drowned while trying to escape.

"Colin!" She screams and wakes. There's panic in her eyes. "Oh God it wasn't a dream!" She sobs.

"Ginny." Willow speaks placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. "I believe you know my friend here."

Ginny looks at me. "Her . . mione." She sobs.

"Ginny." I sit at the edge of the bed.

"You're alive!" She gasps and throws her arms around me.

I hug her back.

Willow's POV

I leave Ginny and Hermione to talk. Matthew is approaching. "We just got word there's been some sort of up rising." He informs me.

"The Aurors put it down." He pauses. "They used the unforgivables. Killed over 50."

"When?" I ask.

"In the last hour, they put it over the floo network until they shut it down completely. All of Europe is under Marshal law. The Minister had just outlawed all form of relationships between purebloods and muggle born. He declared all mixed marriages illegal and all children of these marriages are to be sterilized. If they're not pureblood enough." The wizard answers.

"I need to talk to some friends." I tell Matthew. "I'll back as soon as I can."

I quickly leave the hideout. I take to the air.

"You want to know some answers?" The voice is familiar.

I turn to face my fellow angel.

I gasp it's . . .

"Jessie." I yelp.

"Long time no see Wills." Jessie smiles at me.

I hug him and spin him round, then he spins me round a little. We're floating high above the earth now.

"Wills, it's time you were informed of hidden things." Jessie looks serious. Jessie serious that's a new one.

"Can you tell what kind of Angel I am?" He asks.

Hold it! Freeze frame. I can't? I should be able to unless he's an Archangel? "No," I gasp.

"I'm an Archangel of Justice." He tells me. "I'm the first to be sent back to walk the earth itself in over 5000 years. I'm here to deal with a Domination Demon. You know him, as the Minister of Magic."

Rewind! Oh My!

"Why didn't anyone tell me before?" I ask.

"Because you didn't need to know at that time." His expression is thoughtful.

"Then why now?" Is my question

"He's summoned the First Evil back to this realm." Jessie is not happy. "This changes the balance of power on the field of battle. You should've, been able to counter the demon and put things back on track. Now everything's gone to pot. The Spirit of the Earth itself demands action be taken."

"And that's why you're here." I state.

"Yes," he sighs. "If the situation within the magical community, is not corrected within six months. The following judgement will come into effect, no more witches or wizards will be born. No more witches or wizards will received their powers when they come of age to receive them and the current generation will be the last for 200 years by order of the higher powers."

"That's heavy." I gap.

"Has it should be, 100 percent of them voted the creature in, to replace Fudge." He explains. "So the entire community is to be punished. Unless, they correct their mistake in siding with the forces of the First Evil."

"That sounds like a tall order." I observe.

"I agree, that's why tonight the Watchers Council inner circle must be dealt with by you and me." Jessie's eyes are glowing. "It has been decided that the slayer will be part of the fellowship you have put together. For that to happen the demon's most powerful allies must be remove from the game."

I follow Jessie, as we fly towards the Headquarters of the Watcher's Council. There are wards. Mortal magic. We pass straight though the wards. Mortal magic, as no effect on us. It is useless against us. We pass though bricks and mortar like it is air.

We enter a room there are several men. They are in there 20's to middle age. Jessie unsheathes his sword. We become visible. Let the sentence be carried out. I smile, a sword of black steel appears in my hand.

The inter members of the council look at us in horror. We are holy horrors to anyone looking at us at this moment.

I let loose. Jessie has more control. I am vengeance, he is justice. When the goal is the same let say nothing on earth can stop us.

It only takes us a moment to destroy the inter council. Death is a very busy angel at this moment. She's shaking her head and sighing a lot at the moment. Now she's waving a finger at us. Great! The boss is telling me off!

Jessie quickly speaks. "It was commanded."

Death rolls her eyes and disappears, while shaking her head. I think she's not going to let me live this down.

We leave the way we came unseen and unheard.

"There will be a power struggle now that with purge the Watchers Council." The archangel speaks.

"What about the First?" I ask.

"It is up to you and your allies to take down his support mechanism." Jessie answers. "The First is not yet at full strength, he needs time to fully cross back into this realm."

"Destroy the one who summoned it." I reason out loud.

"Will send him straight back home." My old school friend nods while he completes my sentence.

"Where am I to find the slayer?" I request.

"She'll find you and your friends." He smiles. "I must go now, I have much Justice to visit upon the corrupt this night."

*I fly back to the hide out. I sense I'm being followed. I change course slightly. This creature isn't angelic or vengeance based. It's a human with magically powers. There is something else as well. Slayer power. I can sense it.

A bolt of energy comes from the slayer. I easily avoid. The bolt carries another signature. It's demonic. So me and Jessie where spotted by the demon.

This little witch is powerful. Time for a game of chicken. I turn and drive towards the slayer. She holds her course.

This is going to hurt. Lots. I let a bolt hit me. "Arrgh!" I yelp. The energy of the bolt is like a lightning show over my body.

I close in on her. I grab my opponent off her broom.

The energy dancing over my body is demonic. The slayer power is pre historically good. Having an angelic side to it. I am hoping it will react against this demonic dancing over us now.

Bingo!

The girl's slayer power is dispelling the enchantment on her.
