Jack looked over at Thor and asked tersely. “So these Vogons can slip past undetected because of this SEP that they have?”
Thor gave an unblinking nod. “Yes, it is far superior than the any cloaking device.”
Daniel frowned in thought. “What’s so special about an SEP?”
“It means, that although something is there, you will not see it because it is
Someone Else’s Problem .”
Jack turned an incredulous look at Daniel, who shrugged. “Oh boy. I need more coffee.”
Jack suddenly turned to Thor. “So, this William guy doesn’t know they’re after him. He won’t even see the Vogons coming. Do we even know where he is yet?”
Thor gave something akin to a smug grin in reply. “Calm yourself. We know that William is in the company of One Who Sees. The SEP will pose no problem for him. They have been sent a message about the Vogons. William may even have his own means of escape off world.”
Jack groaned and dropped his head to the table. “One Who Sees? SEPs? No. No more weird stuff. Why me?” Daniel reached over to pat his back in sympathy.
Jolting upright Jack cast a beady eye on Thor. “What do you mean his own way off world?”
Thor blinked out leaving only Jack and Daniel in the room.
“Damn alien.”
“Jack!”
