Chapter Six

“Thrice this slayer has fallen and thrice she shall rise
With both aid and without it.
The oldest of them all, she is both immortal and mated,
She was a guardian of the first gate,
She is a champion in her hour of greatest need.
The Ancient Evil, cast out by both Hosts and Evils,
Shall send forth so great an army
To plague all humanity.
If this is to stop or be reversed,
This one slayer along with two others
Must defeat this evil without further help
From the Powers that Be
Should they fail
All will be destroyed for sure.”

Seraphima swore when she heard the prophecy. It was more than obviously referring to her.

Wesley her former watcher looked at them all along with the few Lost Boys there.

“Thrice this slayer has fallen and thrice she shall rise.” Wesley paused. “Seraphima died three times and rose three times. That is obviously referring to her.”

“With both aid and without it.” Spike looked up at this.

“The oldest of them all, she is both immortal and mated.” Wesley looked at Seraphima after this. “This again refers to Sera”

“She was a guardian of the first gate”

“She is a champion in her hour of greatest need”

“The Ancient Evil, cast out by both Hosts and Evils,” Wesley looked up from the prophecy in fear. “The First Evil”

“Shall send forth so great an army” Wesley looked over them all.

“To plague all humanity.” Wesley looked grave “Turok Han”

“If this is to be stopped or be reversed”

“This one slayer along with two others.” “Faith and Buffy”

“Must defeat this evil without any further help.”

“From the Powers that Be

“Should they fail”

“All will be destroyed for sure”

All three slayers looked up gravely at this. It meant that they had to do something about the First Evil and fast. They all knew they would need Spike and the potentials along with the Scythe.
