Matilda Link seethed as the Baron make his demands. She pulled against the ropes that bound her to the chair. She had just left school when the CHUMP thugs jumped her.

That they sent four agents showed the respect they had for her father. That she had nearly escaped was a tribute to his training.

Her struggles faltered as an unseen force rippled through her body and a faint voice echoed in her mind.
