Ripper's Other Friend

Giles was not a happy man. He was disgusted with himself for having not noticed when Ethan had moved into town, and despite the fact that he'd beaten up the bloody chaos mage, it really didn't improve his mood at all.

With a sigh, he picked up the telephone and began to dial. There was another old friend - mentor, actually - of his, who he hadn't heard from in quite some time, and who would definitely want to know what Ethan Rayne had been up to.

"Ah, yes. This is Rupert Giles with the Sunnydale Library. I'm calling for Devon Miles..."
