Everything in Ethan's shop during the Halloween episode were acquired from real persons, aliens or animals, either long dead or still living, in this dimension or another. All the people transformed during the trick-or-treat kept parts of the transformations as new weird character traits (mental or physical) or full-blown schizophrenia/paranoia depending on what they wore. Everything the involved characters gained were "stolen" from others in an equal exchange or a permanent download: as in the person forgot/lost everything the other person gained. In Season One, Episode 3 'The Witch' - Amy's mum casts a spell that is reflected back on by Buffy using a, conveniently placed, mirror. This challenge starts there; the mirror isn't there, the spell hits Buffy and she's put in the statue. However, the witch is killed soon after by one of the others. Here's the problem, Buffy isn't dead, so no new slayer is called and whenever they try to find her the hellmouth interferes because the trophy case is just across from it almost.

In canon, Joyce owns an art gallery. In fandom, Joyce (almost) always owns an art gallery. It seems like a curious blind spot, and one ripe for some creative rethinking. Your challenge is as follows: come up with an alternative career for Joyce, and write a story of any length that explores how Joyce's alternate career changes (or doesn't change) events for Joyce specifically and her family in general. As fond as I've become of the 'Xander Gets Turned Into A Girl' stories, I ran across a ficlet where Buffy got turned into a guy....which was a first for me. Or I'm just not looking in the right places *lol*. But I say that it's time for someone else to have a few miles in someone else's shoes. It doesn't have to be a crossover, but it has to be anyone that isn't Xander.

In the episode Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, Xander has Amy cast a Love Spell for him that goes horribly wrong and instead of Cordelia falling for him the entire female population does.
The one thing that puzzled me about this episode is that most of the spells used in the show (except by Willow later), are often in other languages but this one is not.

After losing a bet with the Trio, most of Sunnydale High school and quite a few adults and faculty are dressed as Clan Wolf from BattleTech/MechWarrior. Here's an idea I've had for Halloween lately. What if on Halloween the scoobies dressed as comic book characters but for every character they dress as someone else has dressed the equivalent counterpart from an opposing comic company. Potential examples. Xander=Green Arrow so Andrew dressed as Hawkeye, Willow=Fairchild So Cordy dressed as She-Hulk, Buffy=Wonder Woman so Larry=Thor, Giles=Captain Britain Ethan=Captain Marvel.
