Twisting The Hellmouth Crossing Over Awards - Results
Live on New Server

Either at the end of Season 1 as a result of closing the Hellmouth, Season 4 as a backlash of the enjoining spell, Season 5 as a portal went a little wonky, or Season 7 as a result of the Sunnydale Collapse, the Scoobies are dropped en masse in Lothlorien, just before (months) the Fellowship is formed. Whatever will they do?

1) at least one of the pairings is Buffy/Willow;

2) They affect the world at least commensurate with their powers - i.e., Buffy post S5 should do more than ride along with the fellowship.

3) There is a way to get back-not ...

Elrond did not only raise Estel but a small human girl as well. Buffy (he that name does not sound human) and Aragorn grew up together until they were about 13 then a portal took Buffy to LA (and of course later on sunnydale). You can choose from the possibility of Aragorn going to Sunnydale to find buffy and taking her back home or buffy dropping back in Rivendell after the Gift.

Must have:

1. Fellowship timeline
2. Maybe start with buffy and aragorn as children or just use flashbacks
3. Aragorn and Buffy were always ''fighting'' and this continues when they meet ag...

Joyce is Celebrain, she and her youngest child ( buffy still very small) were attacked by the orcs. But instead of Celebrain going to Valinor a portal send her and buffy to LA. After almost dying in Sunnydale ( season 5) Celebrain with Giles help manages to open a portal back to middle-earth.

- Buffy does not know her mother's and her own true identity.
- Celebrain (Joyce) and buffy return before the hobbits arrive.
- Buffy/Legolas pairing
- Buffy joining the fellowship
- Elladan & Elrohir must makes appearances
- No Dawn
- Celebrain afraid to lose Buffy...

So, I've seen so many times that a character from BtVS is transported to Middle Earth, but what if it was the other way around?

* You can chose the character (although I would prefer either Aragorn, Legolas or Boromir)
* You can chose the timeline on either sides
* Great if you highlight the comical aspects of the cultural differences
* Great if the character develops a romantic connection to a BtVS character, though I would prefer that you stick with the characters sexual orientation (yes, Willow is a lesbian, as she herself put it: "hello! Gay now!")

* I would p...

LotR/BtVS crossover w/ Faith as the main character.

Somehow Faith gets transported to Middle Earth right before the Fellowship is formed. How this happened, where she gets dumped, anyone else that goes with her, and pairings are up to you, but she has to join the Fellowship.

Bonus points if you use this at some point:

{"So you are the warrior [ ] spoke of. I envisioned someone...taller," [ ] said with a smirk.
Now Faith didn't normally have the same problems B seemed to have with her somewhat diminutive size, but this was the absolute last straw. Sh...

Challange requirements:
Buffy as a main character.
Slayer-scythe weilding Buffy.
A GOOD explanation for her immortality
Non-human pairing or no pairing. Meaning no Aragorn or Boromir.
If you choose a Legolas pairing, some trouble with his father.
Fellowship theme.
Find a way to keep Boromir around.
Buffy's Immortality CANNOT be immediatly advertised, but rather found out through some otherwise unsurvivable injury.
Buffy has to have a slight face-off with the Balrog in Moria while Gandalf still gets pulled down with it.
Other than that,...

The basic plot should include some kind of conflict between Buffy and the Scoobies, due to the previous events in season 7. After a failed romance of some sort or a patrol gone wrong, Buffy is given the chance to go to Middle-earth where she eventually finds happiness and healing.

Must have:
Buffy as part of the fellowship.
Slayer dreams.
Friendship with Eowyn
Buffy immortal

Legolas/Buffy romance preferred, but not mandatory. If you choose not to have a Buffy/Legolas romance please have at least a well-developed friendship.

What would have happened if Angel hadn't been sent to Hell. What if he was sent to good ol' middle earth and picked up by Saruman. Now, the old white wizard underestimated Angel and he runs for it and meets up with Aragorn who is on his way to Bree to meet the hobbits.
From there anything goes. There is one condition taht you all should know about.
Angel HAS to be able to go out in the sunlight. He's still a vamp but something happened and now he stands a chance of actually gettin' a tan even though he looks perfectly perfect with his pale skin.
This can be a slash story if you ch...

1.) Has to have a WISH that sends one Scooby off to the never never of LotR.
2.) Said sent Scooby can't immediately come back.
3.) Must at least try to keep in character, nothing to outrageous, i.e. Xander using mojo to instantly beat back a hoard of Orcs. (Please note that while Xander can make use of the mojo, the rules of Murphy and Xander must still apply, in that "If it can go wrong, it will.")
4.) The Company of LotR + Scooby have to go on at least one trip to one of the mentioned cities of Middle Earth, i.e. Mirkwood, Gondor, Rohan, Lothloerien, Imlardris, Moria.
5.) Smu...

Dawn jumps from the tower and ends up in Middle Earth DE-AGED. A five year old Dawn ends up in Rivendell and meets a young Aragorn. How will things change for the fellowship with an elven-raised Dawn?

1.) Dawn must be adopted by Elrond
2.) Dawn must be paired with an elf
3.) Dawn must be immortal
4.) The key must be a Gift from the Valar that was stolen.
5.) Buffy must show up one way or another.

Xander gets transported to the LotR universe after he leaves Anya at the alter. What will happen to our favorite demon magnet when he has to deal with a ring of great power and a King he cant seem to get out of his mind?

1. Xander/Aragorn pairing. (Any other pairings are up to you.)
2.Xander MUST return to his own dimension TEMPORARILY

Oz wondered a bit further than anyone expected. Somebody screws up (Rule No. 1 it can't be Willow) and sends every bodies favorite furry to Middle Earth. (Rule No.2 It has to be Post Chosen and Pre or Post LOTR) and Rule No.3 if it is the first age, Oz meets Isildur and beats the living crap out of him. Rule No.4 Oz will simply be known as the bard and accumulate his various names and titles from there. Final Rule, Rule No.5 no characters from BTVS can join him, only characters from Angel that fought in the final battle against Wolfram and Hart.

Anyway good luck -Xinn

I'd really like to see a good crossover story involving Xander from BTVS and Elladan/Elrohir Halfelven of LOTR. I want SLASH. There's just something about those sexy elves, and they seem to cause and delight in as much chaos as Xander causes, even if most of the time he doesn't mean to do it. I don't particularly care how Xander gets to Middle Earth, but I would like the majority of the story to take place there. On the other hand, it would be pretty damn funny if someone could stick the twins in BTVS' version of Earth convincingly, so if you think you can manage it, go for it - I'll defin...

I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan, so I decided to put this little challenge out for anyone who would like to see or try something a little different.

In almost all of the challenges that I have seen thus far, it is always one of the BtVS or Angel characters who gets sent back to Middle-Earth for some reason. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with this premise, I propose a twist.

Of all of the LotR characters, one of the characters that stands out the most for me (and is sorely under-used, in my opinion) is Lord Elrond. As an immortal elf, he has seen both the best an...

Giles is Gandolf. That's pretty much the whole thing. I want a story where either:

1) Giles is how Gandolf started out. He acquires certain magics and is risen to the level of grey wizard (or whatever comes before that). He fights the good fight as the world changes around him. You'll probably have to fiddle with the LotR back story a touch, but probably just by scrunching the time line. You're smart. You can do it:)

2) In a time of need, the Scoobies call for aid. The spell is meant to persuade help from the Council. Instead, Giles finds himself possessed by Gandolf...
