Rules for Challenges

YAHF with a twist.

Rather than going as a regular soldier for Halloween, Xander decides to dress as the one eyed leader of S.H.I.E.L.D.

For some reason or another, the Halloween spell screws up and instead of turning into Nick Fury, Xander is transformed into a mix of Nick Fury and the one eyed Xander from the future. Once the spell ends, he is left with the memories and skills of both characters.

Now, what would a Xander with knowledge of the coming future as well as the skills, dedication and experience of a spymaster (a highly paranoid and duty bound one at that) ...

This is mostly for the Agents of Shield TV series that plays a companion to the Marvel Movies.
So here are the constraints
-Xander is added onto Coulson's team
-He plays the role of the supernatural consultant(of sorts)
-Marvel-verse is not necessarily the Buffy-verse
-Xander remains relatively human, no massive power boosts that throw him into the super hero zone
-This is a post or mid- Africa Xander, or at least Caleb has removed his eye
-Pirate jokes are made and possibly references to the similarities of Fury and Xander(Eye patch-wise at least)

hey, you try coming up with a suitable pun for the challenge (to use as your story title, duh.)

Anyway: Put Simply: Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover, wherein Xander takes the place of Tony Stark (Or other character) including all the memories of said person up to the point wherein he's placed.

How or why up to you (a canon event twisted for it, or not.)

See my own response for an example ficlet.

Xander is Agent Coulson.
Willow feels/hears about, Loki stabbing him, goes Darth Rosenberg.
Finds Loki at Stark tower, rips enough magic out of him to heal Coulson/Xander.

I know there are quite a number of Halloween fic’s where one of the main characters dresses as a specific Mutant (Marvel Comics) and they retain the powers of the Mutant in question. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the comics in question, I’ve never really understood how they could retain the same powers (unless they permanently change into the character - genetics and all) after the spell ends.

Therefore, I propose that the effects of Halloween merely operate to provide the character(s) with the X-gene. Thus leaving the specific powers they are to develop to their own ge...

I've read plenty of stories where Xander or Buffy somehow end up in the Marvel Universe and end up fighting for the good guys. They are essentially already 'good guys' or 'heroes' when they get there. I think it would be far more interesting to send Faith at her most disturbed to the Marvel Universe and go from the real bad place she is in to becoming a bonafide hero.

The story should contain all of the following:

1) Faith is rescued/taken in/captured by a super hero group shortly after arriving to the Marvel Universe (this group can be The Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-men, e...

Xander Harris was looking at the incredibly rare incredibly realistic costume of Gabriel Summers A.K.A. Vulcan.

“Man that's so awesome I wish I could afford a costume like that.” (Xander)

“Then perhaps I can offer you a deal if your interested.” (Ethan)

Xander screamed like a girl- er I mean he gave a manly yelp, That's right that's what he did, right.

“Don't do that especially in this town.”(Xander)

“My apologizes, but about the deal.” (Ethan)

“I only have $10.00.” (Xander)

“If you help me pack up everything ...

Another Genderbender Xander story.

Xander dresses as Karolina Dean during Halloween and retains her body in totality.

Can remain true to cannon, but with the added powers of a Majesdanian.

Desired but not mandatory:

Primal resurgence.
DC comic pairing with Starfire, Raven, Supergirl/Powergirl or Mia Dearden.

Feel free to take any liberties with the story specifics.

Who here doesn't love a good Buffy/Spike story?

Buffy finally got over the fact that she fell in love with Spike. She even got over the fact that he died before she could do anything about it.
She was finally free to do what she wanted and occupied with her new role as the liaison between the Avengers and Sineya's Circle of Guardians (the new version of the Council) when the past comes back to hound her.
Spike is alive again. And a human. Or as close to a human as a former vampire can get.
The old wounds, long forgotten, will open again and the love that was supposed to b...

An idea from my Fanart story. I, thanks to a review, decided to post it as a challenge and I hope someone will pick it up.

The Avengers think Tony is going crazy.

The Scoobies think its a side effect for bringing Buffy back.

Tony and Buffy know it's something very different.

An error, a storm and a evil unwittingly connects two people together. Him, a man whose time is running out. Her, a woman forced to live once more. Their thoughts and souls brought together in a bond that tranverses dimensions and bring two worlds together to not only save them, but the ...

Elizabeth "Buffy" Anne Summers arrives in Sunnydale under very different circumstances. Her parents were never divorced, and she never went to the psychiatric ward. What actually happened was much more traumatizing than she could have predicted.

Her father, an accomplished pilot. decides that the best thing to do in the aftermath of Hemery is to take the family on a private flight. No one expected the plane crash, nor could Buffy or her mother remember precisely what went wrong. There was no sign of Hank Summers, and Buffy was changed forever.

Red energy beams now continu...
