The challenge is to write a Xander-Centered story, that runs off the bases of Xander being nothing but normal (I.E. No Hyena/No Halloween Soldier)
Doing this, you write out his commitment to becoming stronger and more skilled as a normal human.
Basically turn him into Batman without being Batman.
Make him a newly created original concept. Very little crossover to effect him directly.
Allow him to see the fight from the capabilities of a normal and then give him the drive to be more that JW never gave him.

This challenge is not about Xander becoming Batman or most of the Bat-clan. It will hopefully focus on other member of Batman's universe.

- Have Xander be either Commissioner Gordon or another member of GPD. (The story could use Dick Grayson aka Nightwing but would have to have a good reason for him transferring to Gotham)

Xander finds a costume of Doctor Fate at Ethan's shop and acquires it. When Ethan casts his spell, it catches the attention of the actual Nabu who had convienently been searching for his own Champion. Before the spell ends, Nabu offers Xander the opprotunity.

Grab a Buffy or Angel character and stick them in Gotham, and then give them a good (or not so good) reason to steal the batmobile (ex: to run over a demon, to go for a joyride (in case of those evil characters), just because, ect.)

Also, please have their interaction with Batman after finding out they stole his car, because you know he'll find it, most likely with them still in it.

And of course, please make it funny.

I just found out that Joss was signed up to make a Wonder Woman movie. It never materialized, but rumors were that Charisma Carpenter, Eliza Dushku, or Morena Baccarin was going to play the title role.

So, here's the challenge. Write a story where Cordy, Faith, or Inara was/is/becomes Wonder Woman. If you don't want to use those characters, anyone played by one of those three actresses will do just fine. Kendall Casablancas, Tru Davies, Adria, The Seer, Echo... Hell, Morena did the voice for Black Canary in Justice League Unlimited, if you want to go with something unusual.

The Council tells Buffy and Giles to go to hell after checkpoint. At a temporary loss, the Scoobies scramble to find other sources of information. After reading an issue of the Blackest Night, I began to wonder how the BtVS/Angel characters would react to the Blackest Night. I have half a mind to write this myself but I'm a little scared too.

I mean can you imagine a corrupted version of Tara going to Willow wanting to rip her still-beating heart out and eat it?

Or Joyce being ressurrected by the power of the black rings and going after Buffy or Dawn?

Ten-year-old Buffy Summers finds the ring of a Green Lantern. Not realizing it's the real thing, she puts it on and, having heard the oath on TV, recites it. The ring activates, and she becomes the shortest humanoid Green Lantern in history.

Musts:

1. Buffy is a Lantern. No one is allowed to take the ring away. They can try, but she has to beat them.

2. Buffy defeating one of the DC villains in a humiliating way, i.e. spanking Lex Luthor, or something.

What if, in the end of the episode "Go Fish," the cure did not work for Xander? What if he realized this and left before he could change? But eventually the sea calls to him.

Whatever happens after is up to you. Is Aquaman able to help Xander or is he forced to kill him? Will Xander survive long enough to meet other superheroes? Who knows?

Please, canon pairings only if you really want a romance, but in the end, it is up to you.

Xander gets betrayed by Buffy and Willow and moves to Gotham where he gets kidnapped and meets the caped crusader. What will happen when he moves in with a family friend, Bruce Wayne?

1.) Xander has some sort of relationship with Bruce (either Xander/Bruce pairing OR Xander is related to him)
2.) Xander has a bad habit of getting kidnapped
3.) The Sunnydale crew shows up and only Giles supports Xander

Buffy arrives in Sunnydale for the same reasons as in Season One, but even though she knows about vampires and demons she is not the Slayer. Buffy burnt down the gym because she wasn't a Slayer and it was the only way she could think of to keep from becoming a victim.

In fact this reality has no Slayer, just various shadowy hunter groups. It was a rescue by one of those groups that clued her in on the true state of the world. Trying to convince her parents got a very unattractive coat with sleeves that were way too long as part of her wardrobe for awhile.

Buffy goes to Gotham City, and becomes Catwoman or the apprentice of Catwoman.

I got the idea after reading cjsplace's story "A Plum New Job."
In that story they sometimes thought she was like Catwoman, and I thought that her being the thief/heroine would be a great story.

Time frame- Either end of season 2 after she ran away, or season 7 when the Scoobies threw her out.

You can use any form of Batman you want. (Example- movies, animated series, or comics.)

Okay I just got through reading The Sinestro Corps War arc and got this idea.
