OK, simple idea here Hermione Grangers parent are not exactly who she tells everyone they are, they are in fact one Alexander Harris and some female of the writers choice though my personal preference would be for one of the girl Scoobies. The whole my parents are dentists thing is just a cover story as they are concerned that some Wizards might come after her even more than the usual "supposed" muggle born if they new she was connected in any way to the Council and Slayers.
One of the results of Hermione's parents being who they are is her knowing a great deal more about the Wizarding W...

Magic learns, spells become common, because at they're cast they become easier to cast. Magic becomes predisposed to respond to certain things in certain ways. Harry's magic has been trained too. His mother's 'ward' that saved him from Voldemort was simply her teaching his magic how to respond to an attack. And his magic learned... attacks were meant to be hit back even hard, much harder.

It was a couple of years before his magic recovered enough from his first outburst, but oneday when Vernon raised his hand, like He-who-must-not-be-named, Vernon, ceased to be. No body, simply V...

What if Harry Potter tracked down Buffy Summers to help her with her prophecy after he finished Hogwarts. Move forward several years and Harry and Buffy were knocked into the Past.

When Harry and Buffy end up in the Past they are told, by the powers, that they are not allowed to make contact with any Slayers that had died in their time nor can they enter the British wizarding world.

Buffy and Harry adopt Faith.

Whether Harry and Buffy save James and Lily is up to you.
Whether they move to Sunnydale and meet the younger Willow ...

Once JK revealed that Snape came from a non-wealthy background did you think that he would want to spend most of the summer in "that house."

As a potion master it would make more sense that he'd go on day trips (at least) to find rare potions ingredients that grow during the times that Hogwarts is closed during the summer.

When Dawn first "appears" in Joyce's memories, she also remembers that there's a good chance that Hank isn't Dawn's father. She remembers country-side bicycle trips in the rural parts of Wales, while Hank established business contracts and Buffy was at skat...

Willow retired from the demon hunting business and moved to a nice quiet dimension to raise her kids. Unfortunately, just because there isn't a large demonic presence doesn't mean everything is guaranteed to be a bed of roses.

One of her daughters rebelled against their atypical upbringing, probably because her younger sister seemed to have inherited all the looks and gifts of their mother, while the gifted daughter married into a secret world that was in the midst of a Civil War.

Unaware of the war, as her daughter didn't want to alarm her, they were unprepared for an attack...

If you will I have an idea, and perhaps a challenge, that you might try. Specifically a "Harry Potter" in book four challenge. It is common among fanfiction that Harry, or some other principle, with try to argue against his participation by various means. Including either no actual contract or alteration of the tasks in the tournament, but always asking for someone else to act. Perhaps the author in question will have him participate but alter how this done by using minimal effort, over powering him, etc. My challenge is to render the Tournament, and its contract, moot and entirely meaning...

Set between seasons 6 and 7 of Buffy and between HBP and Deathly Hallows of Harry Potter

Molly Weasley is an unassuming housewife living in a sleepy village (Ottery St Catchpole) in Devon. No one would suspect her of being the leader of one of the strongest covens in England (especially if they've forgotten she's a daughter of the famed Prewett family). Giles, who has Prewett blood from his grandmother, knows. He brings Willow to Molly after the incident on Kingman's Bluff.

In the meantime, Death Eaters are getting bolder, so Willow's and Giles' need to be kept off their rad...

Okay, I really do not have the skills to pull this one off, but it would be intriguing to read, and I haven't found any like it yet on the site.

James Potter had a younger brother. At the height of the first Voldemort war this brother's memory was obliviated and he was hidden with the Giles family. With the death of all the Potters except Harry, Dumbledore decided to hold the secret for the safety of the hidden Potter.

Now, after the final defeat of Voldemort, Harry is sifting through the remains of his Grandparent's estate and comes across a small chest full of memorabilia...

Alrighty so I was thinking it would be really cool if say somehow Willow and Tara arrive to the Harry Potter world from a different dimension where Willow never got addicted to magic and they are still together and Tara is very much alive. But in this world Willow is very much alone and they end up running into her somehow as she is either fighting for Voldemort or Harry which ever you prefer. Or you could even do it the other way around where Willow arrives in Harry Potter's world and finds that dimension's Willow and Tara.

Lilly's husband James dies on that Halloween night. Harry bounced the AK without Lilly's sacrifice. Buffy, Willow, and Xander are heading back to the New Watchers Council after viewing the final Harry Potter DH movie when Xander uses the 'W' word and a vengeance demon friend of Anyanka de-ages them all to Harry's 15 months, then sends them across the dimensions to be Harry's siblings, including the lightning bolt scars on each forehead (Voldemort threw an AK into a playpen full of magical babies). Reality modified in the same manner that happened when Dawn was introduced in their former univer...

Desperate after the death of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and the last few remnants of the survivors of Hogwarts, seeks out a witch rumored to be so powerful that she almost destroyed the world after the murder of her lover. Finding her, they hire her to kill Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

What they promise her in return I leave to your discretion. Pairings, if any, I leave to you, though I like the idea of Hermione falling for her (believably) in the end. Please make it a long story.

After Sirius’ death, all his earthly possessions, including Harry, go to his nephew, Alexander Harris Black. Contacted, Africa!Xander come to see his new pupil and does not take well everyone’s neglect of a child or Dumbledore’s manipulations.
Please, be it an adult!Xander, not a zeppo, and a young/needy Harry.
It can be Hermione and Ron bashing, or just a “they were children and didn’t realize”.

Harry Potter & Hermione Granger-Potter are Buffy Summers parents but Buffy was kidnapped from them. (Angry Death Eaters / Jealous Weasley’s / some other enemies) By the time they traced her to an adoption center she had been lost into the system. A few memory charms to make them think that a child had been there longer or even killing one child and replacing it with the Potter girl. Something happens that sends a magical pulse from the hellmouth and all of the world’s top magical battling teams are sent to investigate. Or the signature is something that triggers an alert for a british ...

Joyce Summers is not real. She is really Hermione Jean/Jane Granger-Potter former member of the infamous Golden Trio and little Miss Know it all Witch. HG & BS both had glamour and magic bound.Former Death Eaters performed memory spell on her and gave her a new life to hurt HP who only knew that his wife and daughter were alive but nothing else. When the Scoobies break a spell that affects Buffy it also destroys the Death Eater magic and reminds Joyce of whom and what she is. Harry comes tearing to Sunny-Hell once he learns where they are. Or maybe during the confrontation at the end of ...
