Scenario: Some one from the Jossverse gets a job or an internship at the Jeffersonian Institution. Obviously they’ve been keeping their nightlife a secret, but one day the FBI calls them in for a particularly unusual crime scene and when usual methods fail, the Jossverse character attempts to identify a demonic cause.

The Jossverse character can be anyone; although Connor, Dawn Willow or one of the SITs come to mind.

I know there is a Xanders Real Dad Challenge, but this is a bit more detailed a challenge:

I want to see Jarod(from the Pretender) and Ms. Parker (his one time best friend and now nemesis) as Xanders real parents.

Jarod was locked up and experiemented on for well over 25 years, and it is hinted at that Ms. Parker was as well. So what if during a medical exam, they had DNA taken from them, and a test tube baby was made - Xander. (Jarod is 43, Ms. Parker is 36, and Xander is 23)

Dark Angel - Set around the end of season 1, beginning of season 2.

Buffy - Set around season 3 when Buffy goes to hell in Anne. Except that the time moves differently there than in the show (different dimension?). Instead of time moving faster there, it moves slower. It is about 7½ years here to every 1 year there.

Buffy is in hell for 3 years. When she comes out, she finds out that 22-23 years have passed. She goes in in 1998, and comes out in 2019-20. So she is the same age as the Dark Angel crew. You can figure out the exact dates. Or not.

I was thinking about a fic based on this idea myself. But I’ve got too many ongoing stories as it is so I decided to make it a challenge.

Emily Gilmore had a child when she was a teenager that she gave up for adoption. That child grew up to become Joyce Summers.

Setting:

Gilmore Girls – First two seasons (Buffy should be older than Rory)

In BtVS Season's 7's "Conversations with Dead People" Dawn is attacked/harassed by something, possibly the First Evil, in a surrealistic scene that looks like it's straight out of a horror movie.

During the course of her personal horror flick the phrase "Mother's milk is red today" appears in red paint/blood on the wall.

Write a story (more than 1000 words or a series of drabbles that at least total that length) that involves Dawn in an X-Files investigation where that phrase appears.

Note the City of Angels is not Los Angeles but another California coastal city closeby and almost as corrupt as Sunnydale under Mayor Wilkinson.

As the show Queen of Swords was set in a small fictional California town of Santa Helena, It's possible it's not far from the present setting of Sunnydale. Anyway the tale go one of three main directions(writer's pick).
1. The Queen has been brought forward in time to meet the Scoobies.
2. Buffy (and Gang if writer wishes) are sent back in time.
