Lizabeth Masen (you can change the name) was the sister of Edward who died with their parents during the epidemic. He remembers her, holding her close to his heart, trying to keep her face fresh in his mind through the long years but he never expected to see her again.

Buffy was once Lizabeth Masen, in a past life. A slayer was needed and she was given a harsh choice - be the slayer and save humanity or say no and let it fall. The destruction of all would be on her hands. Of course, she chooses being the Slayer and is reborn as Buffy Summers. She remembers very little of her life but ...

Season Two of Buffy and Season One of SG-1 start at roughly the same time.

The Army's Initiative is a sister-program to the Air Force's SGC. General Hammond has agreed to share off-world information with the Army in exchange for continuous updates on Earth's HST (Hostile Sub-Terrestrial) population. He is not aware of the corruption at the heart of the Initiative, moreover there might not even be any at this early point in time.

Very early on in the formation of SG1, maybe even before Teal'C signs up, the general gathers the new team and briefs them on the presence of Earth...

All Jessica Summers wanted was a normal life. Away from vampires, demons, and all the supernatural.

Unfortunately, this drove a huge wedge between her and her little sister and resident vampire slayer, Buffy. So when Jess moved away from home and went to college, they rarely saw each other aside from visits.

Though in many ways driven apart, the two sisters made a promise to each other.

On Halloween, the night when the majority of the supernatural take a break for a change, one of them will come to the other and they'd have a night filled with nothing but normalcy. ...

Ever wonder what made Buffy become a cheerleader? Well, it's not what you think! It was an innocent (or not) suggestion by her Aunt Sue--Sue Sylvester. I want this to be after Joyce's death but you can rearrange the timelines to suit you. Is Buffy still in high school or will she help Sue train the Cheerios? Is this before or after Dawn--will Dawn even exist?

I could see this playing out either way. No Dawn with Buffy still in high school or Dawn joining Glee (or just going to McKinley) while Buffy assists Sue.

The reason they go to Lima is also up to you, but I could see Sue...

During the summer without Buffy, Buffybot decides that she wants a boyfriend.

Buffybot has secretly amassed a lot of money, either through honest labor or stealing in some way or as a gift, so she tracks down Warren and pays him the money. He builds a boybot for her, but it winds up loose in Sunnydale.

Warren's a fanboy and the creation is someone straight out of fiction (Commander Riker, Han Solo, Peter Parker, etc.) or a composite thereof (Anakin Skywalker with the martial arts skills of Daredevil), believes himself to be the fictional personality, and is programmed to ...

Buffy/Stargate SG-1

Instead of Dawn being sent to Buffy as her little sister,. the monks made her Buffy's daughter, hoping that Buffy's maternal instincts would cause her to be even more protective of the Key.

But you need more than a mother to have a child.

Enter Jack O'Neill.

The monks used part of Jack and Buffy to create Dawn.
(you can choose whatever reason they picked him.)

But the Scoobies don't know this, leaving Dawn without her mother and grandmother.

It's a few months after Buffy's return, and although feeling blessed at see...

This is a Buffy/Primeval Challenge. There just aren't enough of them.

When Buffy jumps to save Dawn instead of killing her it sends her somewhere.

How does this differ from other challenges of it's like? Instead of spitting her out of a random portal or a wormhole Stargate style it latches on to an anomaly, which closes after dumping her out. (She never sees what it looks like.) Now not only is Buffy in a different dimension but a future not her own.

Or isn't it? It may not have humans now but there were at one time people. And while there are demon like creatures th...

The Juggernaut of Shadowrun RPG is a vicious and huge 'Awakened' beast. It is natural expression/unlocking of the common armadillo (D. novemcinctus)'s innate magical/genetic potential, so it could either arrive in the Buffyverse through a dimensional portal or arise from armadillos exposed to magical fields.. in much the same way as the original stock.

Two of the many possibilities:
Riley/Wilderness Areas
Andrew/Suburbia

You could have Riley's South American commando team be called back the United States (hopefully a desert region) to take out one (or a colony) of th...

Buffy/Stargate

Elizabeth "Lizzie" O'Neill was always her daddy's little girl. She went everywhere with Jack and was always willing to listen to any stories he had about the military.

But when she was barely fifteen a man named Merrick told her she had a destiny, and everything changed.

She'd gotten a relatively steady routine patrolling and training with her watcher so that her parents wouldn't find out.

But one day when when she was supposed to be watching over Charlie, as she did quite often, she got held over in her training.

She thought little o...

Another take on how Dawn came to be.

During the Stargate finale Unending, Vala gets pregnant with Daniel's child. The PTB knowing that they'll be able to reverse the time dilation and rewrite everything, including the child, see a use for the soul of said child. They reach in as the world resets itself, as that first spark of life comes into being, and put it into stasis for when it's needed.

In the Buffy universe the Monks realize that they can't create the spark, a soul, to turn the key human. When Glory comes for the key they have to try one last time and pray to the PTB t...

Okay, I've seen some 'Buffy's real father' stories that explain that Dawn was created from Buffy's blood, so they have the same dad, even if said father died years before Dawn was born. I've also seen stories where Joyce is actually Buffy's aunt, which complicates things further, especially with the monks messing around with memories.

What I would like to see is a 'Buffy's real father/family' story where the monks created Dawn as Buffy's fraternal twin. This will likely lead to complications such as Dawn and Buffy competing directly over men, which is cool :)

As stories can...

When we think in general about Buffy's family, she never really said anything about them on the show.

Here's the challenge:

Buffy was really born on another planet.

But the PTB knew that if she stayed there, things could go horrible wrong. So they sent her to Earth when she was born, and wiped the memory's of her parents and the people who knew of her. They sent her to a woman named Joyce Summers and she was given false memories of pregnancy.

But not even the Powers That Be could have predicted that a girl from another planet would become the next Slayer, o...

I always wondered why Dawn was helpless. Wouldn't it have been better if she could have protected herself to an extent instead of always having to hide behind Buffy and the Gang? This bunny is a mesh of two ideas I had and gives a pretty valid reason for the monks making her helpless.

The Key is described as being a ball of energy ... It reminds me of Charmed's energy balls. There's a color difference sure but still not so different. Which got me to thinking.

The Source, the one with half a face, I don't know if he was ever referred to as the first Source or not but what if h...

Let's see. There's a huge amounts of movies out there - some cheesy, some quite good - where the country is threatened by gigantic creatures, varying in height from several stories to skyscraper size. How would one of these things react if it was shrunk to human-size and thrown into the chaos of Sunnydale's Halloween? Remember that while many are mindless beasts, some can be quite emotional, others calculating.

Some Suggestions: Mighty Joe Young, King Kong, Rampage, Godzilla, Jurassic Park.

Buffy/Firefly

Buffy is Mal's little sister.

Before the war they were really close, but since Mal changed so much they only talk by letters and such every so often.

But how will everyone else react when little sister joins the crew.

* Mal should first spot Buffy on one of their jobs. Ex. Maybe she heard they would be there and decided to help undercover or something, joining them afterwards.

* Mal scolding "Elizabeth Anne Reynolds!" sometime in the story.

* Constant banter and fighting about her staying onboard. Remember, they used to be re...
