Holy Cow! If you liked Aliens and if you like Buffy, this is like an orgasmic experience for you. Fantastic story, good characterization, great plot, lots of action, and the author actually has a grasp on grammar. I highly recommend this story.

I like this. Easy resolution of Ravnon's backstory and hints of an uber-plot :D

So the big battle scene is coming up, eh? Can't wait. Just one thing; wasn't Nishta the mind control stuff that the Goa'uld Seth used on SG-1? (Maybe she was thinking of the "Hammer of Niska" who was [or will be] a right nasty fellow in "Firefly".) What a nice magical "oops" it would be to make the goons her slaves rather than blowing everthing up. ;)

Ineresting story so far. I look forward to more. I don't know that much about bugs or security systems but I know a bit about computers and computer networks (just enough to be dangerous if let loose on one not enough to do something useful :-)) 20 minutes sounds too long. That should have been noticed straight away.
