Review of chapter "Relatively Speaking" from AtotheM
Review:
Wow! What a great story, I hope you pick it up again at sometime. I love the banter between Dawn and Daniel. And Dawn's phone call's with the Scoobies. And you write all of the SG characters so well too!
I really do hope you carry on! :)

Really enjoying the crossover. The slowly (meaning realistic) developing relationship between Daniel and Dawn is very well done. Just wish/can't wait for Dawn to slowly start opening up about her secrets to Daniel- and his returning the favor.
Random musing: Wonder what happens with a Key goes through a Gate?
This story is wonderful, well characterized and thoughtful. It's totally sucked me in, and I keep re-reading and wanting more. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to find out how the story progresses.

I just reread this one from the beginning. I'd forgotten how much I love it. Your characterizations are simply lovely. I just wanted to give you a little nudge, if that doesn't offend you.

This is truly delightful, and it's such a shame that it hasn't been updated in so long. I really like that Dawn is actually taking time to build trust before talking about everything. There seems to be so many stories where trust is instantly gained or gangwayed by a convenient disaster. I also adore Daniel's panics. He is such a good father, yet he utterly lacks confidence. It is perhaps the perfect formula to deal with a teenager, since it lacks the smugness that comes from a lot of experienced parents who /know/ they know best. Dawn's brattyness is dealt with magnificently, since it is impossible for it to just go away, yet in your writing it doesn't reach out and block the rest of her from shining through. Despite never having to experience living with a sister who steals all the spotlight, I find myself understanding her desperate need to have something all to herself, and how devastating the thought of him coming to ignore her with the introduction of Buffy.
Also, I love Jack, but that's nothing new. Please come back to this??? I'll be your friend forever!
